Rockville HS Rape & Impact on Sanctuary City? Procedures in MoCo?

The reason this is a massive story is that it exposed a situation and policy that progressive leadership wanted to be obscure and little known.

The system is magnet for distributing $17K per year services to any and all illegal immigrants that wander into MOCO. MCPS estimates now around 25,000 undocumented students; that's half a BILLION dollars per year. Additionally, non English speaking, no vaccination records, no birth certificates , no transcripts, no criminal background check, no proven address 18 year olds are wandering the halls and in school as freshmen. Graduating at 21 or 22 but they could be 30 because they have no birth certificate. This is the kind of policy that fosters rape of minors by older tougher men from gang infested countries and no criminal background check being put in class with 14 year old girls. Not to mention a ridiculous and unserious academic atmosphere which is among the most expensive in the world.

This rape exposed it all and the public is furious.

Well said. And, yes, I agree that this is why this story has received so much attention (except from much of the mainstream media, CNN, and MSNBC - these groups don’t want attention brought to it).

Here's the "Sanctuary City" idea driven to its most illogical conclusion. Imagine if I'm a, let's say Swiss criminal, and I'm stopped. I don't have to tell the police about my particular immigration status. Understand? It works for everyone not just Hispanics. If you are stopped and are under suspicion of committing a crime I don't care where you're from I want you gone. Of course, this is a problem because the majority of those in this country illegally are from Central and South America. It's just the fact. I certainly think it's a waste of the time of local law enforcement to function as border control but if there's a problem I don't care what color or nationality the individual is if they are in this country illegally I want them gone. You drive drunk, you assault someone, you rob, you rape, you molest, I don't care the nationality you go back home.

So did the illegal Jr have real documents and a passport with photo id for flying? Does ICE provide these illegals with documents to get on planes?

Didn't the ORR whatever realize the father was an illegal when they release the supposed unaccompanied minor into his custody?

I guess ICE drove him to the airport. Did he have to pay for a ride? I have to pay for the metro/cab/parking at the airport.

Now my taxes also pay for Uber by ICE. In the wrong direction. NW not SE.

ORR doesn't care about the immigration status of the sponsor (in this case the father). ORR will check the immigration status but will not disqualify a sponsor because of it- RIDICULOUS

The word should not be progressive. That is not a positive element. Progress to what? No sovereign nation? That meeting was in NY yesterday.
