What is your honest opinion on undocumented immigrants?

It's out of control. From business to churches to La Raza, people are making too much money off illegals to EVER have them leave. Follow the $$$.

Capitalists will sell us the rope that we hang them with.

Sincerely,

Do you ever speed? I really do not get this moral superiority of "it's illegal",

Many think just because they are citizens they have the right for a job despite their ignorance, laziness and poor education. Can we deport the American citizens who are uneducated, into drugs, welfare, medicaid and dont contribute anything to the society? Where can we deport the white supremacists who do nothing but create hateful societies and spread bigotry which damages this entire country. Ofcourse not, because they are citizens and they have families to support and hopefully their kids will do better. I am sure "most" immigrants, even illegal, do much better than them despite very high odds coz THEY dont have anyone to support them but their hands and their brain. So why cant we do the same with illegal immigrants who are already here?

I am not suggesting an open border, not at all. Give legal status, not citizenship, to those who are here. Make tougher border control, create much better visa laws so people can come in and out easily. Implement E-verify so only those with legal documents can get work. There has to be a practical, low cost solution. Deporting is neither. It is just emotional but not smart.

So what about Hispanics? SA? Brazil? People whose ancestors were slaves? So you don't want borders or organization. What's next ? Rent 10 cruise ships for the Calais jungle?

No other country has such an insane immigration policy. Or lack of it. With the exception of failed states.

Trump now says that Obama is heartless for deporting illegal immigrants. He says he has a large heart and mass deportation on the scale of Obama is not in his plan.

President Obama has mass deported vast numbers of people -- the most ever, and it’s never reported. I think people are going to find that I have not only the best policies, but I will have the biggest heart of anybody,” Trump said.

I love how Trump is always the best. The smartest, the most compassionate, the most religious (well, I haven't heard him say that yet but I'm sure he will), the best everything.

However, he does not seem to be the best at consistency. I'm pretty sure he promised to deport "all the illegals" the first day he got into office. "The very first day, it gets signed." Etc.

And since he decided not to, I am not voting for him. I'm a Democrat, btw. I'm not voting for Hillary either.

I think they are trying to better their lives and the lives of their children. Just like many waves of immigrants before them. And do not say that those were all legal, b/c a) the "requirements" were more lenient and b) even with that, many didn't comply (the derogative "WOP" for Italians means "without papers.")

I am smart enough to know that I had the luck of the draw in being born in the United States. I think poorly of those who think they are special because they have the same luck as I did.

I think that no child (or adult brought her as a child) should be deported b/c of what their parents did. And, I think that we should offer paths to citizenship -perhaps with some penalties- to those who have been living here for a long period of time (to be defined in law).

If you are going to be one issue(ILLEGAL Immigration) voter, then you are never going to vote. you wont find someone who will actually deport 11 million illegal immigrants. It is a logistical, humanitarian, legal nightmare to identify, take them through the courts, separate them from citizen kids and then deport them. The cost is huge to get this done, if you can somehow first create a viable plan to get it done. Thats why NO POLITICIAN will ever deport. Its simply not possible. I am surprised if you have ever voted with this one issue. Reagan gave amnesty to millions despite promise to deport for the same reason i just explained.

It is easy for a layman who doesn't know or is not smart enough to know or doesn't care about HOW a problem is solved. But to actually solve a problem you need to take into so many factors and some factors point to opposite direction. So its easier said than done. Thats why people like will never be able to get anywhere near really big and responsible position coz you dont have the intellectual heft to think through a problem.

End of America as we know it. We will look like Brazil one day where our greatest invention is new STDs.

If you want a multicultural society then you have to pay the price - slums and crime like Latin America. Extremely wealthy communities that are gated. You cannot have a viable middle class. Furthermore the us will be so focused on its problems that the world will fall apart.

Deportation is one among many pieces of immigration policy. It should certainly be used with anyone who commits a crime (besides the crime of coming illegally). After that, we need to add incentives and rewards and programs that encourage legal.immigration that is beneficial to immigrant and the US, and massive disincentives to those who would come .illegally. I see 'the wall' as one such disincentive. Do to the door, get in the queue, and come in that way.

Time to move to the UK, they are taking back their country. Hopefully Trump can do the same. At least he sees the problem.

THE WALL is a very stupid idea in the days of electronic and drone surveillance. Wall is also one of the non starter ideas simply because it is very expensive. Mexico is certainly not paying for it and none can make them pay for it. The smarter decision is to give legal status(short of citizenship) to those that are already here. Then build SMART Wall and implement E-Verify. Then you need to have a need based and skill based visa programs which will expand and contract as per resource and skill need.

It is possible and infact Obama has been deporting thousands of criminal or felony charged illegals and has deported more than any president in US history. So many that EVEN TRUMP called Obama a heartless MASS DEPORTATION president. Trump also said he has a big heart and the Big Heart just forgave the illegal immigrants and SO forgot about the BIG WALL NOW.

Yeah they are taking the country back with a credit rating downgrade, huge stock market losses, massive economic and job losses. In fact they want another vote to fix this vote by the majority stupid old people. Please go to UK. We dont want people like you here anyways. You will make a great citizen in a small island country suffering huge losses on all front.

True End of the Racist white dominated America where minorities and women had few rights. This country is doing very well for the educated, smart people that are creating Google, Facebooks and hundreds of startups working in engineering, technological companies making Robots, 3D Manufactured products, Next gen software, Internet of Things etc etc. If you dont understand what I am talking about then you are one of the next gen inventors of the next STD in America.
