I think the look of an uncircumcised penis is offputting. I'm not going to sit down and consider the whys and the biases of it all, to me, it just is. And evidently it is to others as well.

Oh no. I totally believe there are ignorant biased people who actually care what a stupid penis looks like. But i dont believe these "friends of friends" and "my brother's sister's uncles' cousin's gardener" stories.

I just wonder where all these "eeeew ugly!" People are posting from. We live in Fairfax, and looking at our high school's ethnic make up, I'm pretty sure that the majority of male students at our local high school are uncircumcised. News flash: most of the world doesn't circumcise, other than the US, Israel and majority Muslim countries.

Exactly. No one in Europe except for one's religion.

Twenty years ago, they were definitely bullied for being uncircumcised (according to DH who talks about the kids who were teased in boarding school). Today, I think it very much depends on their peers. I substituted taught at a private school with mostly upper middle class and upper class kids. The overwhelming majority were circumcised.

And you know this how? For being a substitute teacher? What exactly did you teach?!

For those who say uncirced is ugly, I believe you feel that way, but I believe it's more about what's familiar to you than aesthetics. A great majority of the world is uncirced. I bet women in those countries think circled is ugly because they don't see it a lot. I don't think we should use aesthetics a reason to circ.

Maybe in countries where people are more likely to be uncirc'd, they are not as obsessed with oral sex as we are. Maybe it's not a common practice around the world?

I think the guy looking at another guy's junk is more likely to get bullied.

So, you're biased against Hispanics, nice! (In case you didn't know, it's a cultural thing. Most Latin or Hispanic guys aren't circumcised. But I guess they just all have "those weird moms". It's not that you're racist or anything.)

That's pretty funny. How did the sub know the circumcision status of the kids? Anyone want to call the cops?

And I think most of the people who say uncirced is ugly have never seen one IRL. When erect, they look THE SAME. I say this as someone who's DH is uncirc'd, but had a couple circ'd partners before him. I don't know about you, but I don't spend time with flaccid ones, so it's a nonissue.

Well the healthcare system in Europe is always behind and they are usually government run and do things on a cost basis.

Let's just accept a difference of opinion. Some think the look is unattractive, some don't. Those of you with uncircumcised DHs and DSs are obviously adamant that it shouldn't make a difference, ok. Or those men here who are uncircumcised, ok.

But denying andcriticising doesn't change a person's gut reaction to the idea of an uncircumcised penis. And you can defend it or you can label me but that doesn't change opinions.

Why don't you look at the actual health of Europeans vs. Americans?

Science will prevail not morons , vaccination and circumcision should be part of your child's birth plan.

As a nurse who has to look at them and sometimes clean them on coma/elderly, there is lint/crud and sometimes white cakey stuff in-between when opening. I have also seen an infected one and it is enough to want to get my child one. Luckily I had all girls so it was a non-issue.

Maybe if I lived in a country with all full helmets, cleaning this area would be the norm but it is not. Most people do not have them
