| DC resident here. If I had to pick, I would live in VA over MD (for convenience purposes), but I do think NOVA has way too many douchebag transplants. |

You clearly have never spent any real time in VA there are many communities with high walkability. I lived in MD & DC before moving to VA and I use my car far less now. I don't even have to get into a car to go grocery shopping. And by the way, perhaps Downtown Bethesda or Chevy Chase MD might have become extensions of DC but remember that DC was created to be a suburb of Alexandria |

| I used to hate VA. Lived in MD/DC all my life and never ventured over there. Now I am seeing a guy who lives there and I realize it is basically the same as MD but they have better, cheaper ethnic restaurants and the traffic is not always as bad as it is in Chevy Chase/Bethesda where I live. |

| Always reading about how walkable Bethesda and Chevy Chase are, but was in Chevy Chase last weekend after the snow and, boy, was it a mess. People have two cars and live in homes with no garage or room for one car, so they park on the narrow streets. The streets were plowed, but it was such a pain to get around. And most of it is not close to anything in walking distance, either. |

I really like Virginia, especially the mountain and blue ridge areas. I like maryland better. I consider Delaware kind of an extension of maryland.
