I lived in MD & DC before moving to VA and I use my car far less now. I don't even have to get into a car to go grocery shopping. And by the way, perhaps Downtown Bethesda or Chevy Chase MD might have become extensions of DC but remember that DC was created to be a suburb of Alexandria[/quote]
