Child killed by Neighborhood Watch captain while walking home

I am not joking or being sarcastic. Everyone is assuming Trayvon is innocent, the Watch Captain guilty.

We only know a tiny slice of what transpired.

How do we know Trayvon didn't poke his finger from his hoody pocket, threaten and curse?

The Watch Captain would justifiably be alarmed and afraid for his life.

We do not know what happened. Let the court, or inquiry, determine guilt or innocence, not a bunch of ignorant rappers and political hay-makers.

So basically any accused murderer can claim the "finger in pocket" defense and get off unless an eyewitness proves otherwise?

Sorry but that's absurd. We have the audio of the watch captain, pursuing the victim despite instructions from 911. We have his racial epithets on the phone call, and his judgments about the boy. I don't think an "ignorant rapper" made that audio tape.

Obviously he was questioned by police because he issued a statement that he fired in self defense.

And, I will go out on a limb here, and predict a court, or inquiry, will come to the same conclusion as the police who questioned Zimmerman: Trayvon acted in a manner which caused Zimmerman to fear for his life so he fired.

In the end, the ignorant rapper, the political hay makers, will have turned a non-event, that is, the gunning down of a piece of human excrement, into an expensive circus trial.

Wow...you are a filthy, FILTHY, bitch. Let's pray that you have this level of understanding and patience if your child is gunned down. You should be ashamed.

If Zimmerman is not arrested/charged, it will have nothing to do with whether or not he is innocent and/or feared for his life. I'm convinced that he wasn't. Someone who is fearful doesn't pursue a possible criminal. The only thing that will get him off is the retarded "Stand Your Ground" law in FL. And I predict that if Zimmerman gets off, that law will be changed.

you enjoy you day man. i said i wasnt going to fall for your trick to pull me into an argument so you can get a rise out of me and i hope others follow suit.

i get saying extreme things to get attention and you got it for two pages. at this point you are just going to keep saying more vile things until somebody really gets upset so you can make some supposedly larger point which i dont think would really make sense anyway.

enjoy

Oh puh-lease, you are so obviously a troll, trying to get attention by insulting everyone on this thread. What's the matter, troll? Is your life so unutterably awful today that you have to figure out a way to get people mad at you so you can be distracted from how miserable you really feel? Good luck with your pathetic life. Try coping with your problems rather than getting people to distract you from them by pissing them off deliberately.

Please stop calling him a neighborhood captain, watch captain or anything equivalent. He was not a neighborhood captain. The national association said he was never a member. Zimmerman was a wannabe something anything than who he actually was. A wannabee who murdered someone in cold blood.

It is dark. A hooded figure is approaching. He sees you and starts grumbling, cursing, and acting suspicious. What appears to be a gun poking from his pocket is aimed at you.

You cannot run because you are dead in his sights. What appears to be a gun barrel is aimed straight at you so running is not an option. He is sure to try and rob you and then kill you. There is nothing to do but shoot. Is it a gun, a finger, or is it a stick of licorice aimed at you? Gosh, let us put our life in the hands of chance and hope it is candy.

No way. It would be the height of folly to wait and hope this suspicious person, acting crazy at night, is really just a sweet, loving, gentle misunderstood youth who isn't going to rob and kill you. Most likely he hasn't fire yet because he is trying to get a little closer so the short-barreled gun won't miss.

Yes, I just did type this. Yes, I really do think Zimmerman has a case for self defense.

Please ignore this person. He or she is obviously looking for some entertainment to deter him from the reality of their misery called their life. Better not to engage in any back and forth dialogue. Why lower your self to that level and ruin your beautiful day.

I agree. And I'm done with that troll.

So are you aiming to injure or aiming to kill? Even in this situation wouldn't it come down to where you are aiming to shoot - head, chest, back vs. Leg, foot, shooting into the air.

All this would make sense if Zimmerman was not the one chasing Martin. Zimmerman started the interaction by going against police orders. If he has stayed in his car, as he was told to do, there would have been no interaction at all.

The "hooded figure" approached him? Zimmerman was doing the approaching.

Everyone stop responding to this poster. It's a very obvious troll, and not even a good one.
