Good! Sounds like you’re starting to get it. The first step is admitting that you’re a hater of people who are different than you and don’t want to see them have equal rights or dignity. Women, black and brown people, non-Christians, gay people, etc have faced this hate throughout US history. “They” are not like us. “They are in their own universe.” “They” think they deserve equal rights and dignity. Trans people are the latest to face this hatred.

Stupendously ridiculous to say that if you believe trans women should not physically compete against biological women, you must “hate trans people.” My daughter’s best friend is a young trans man and we love him to pieces. However, even he knows it’s unfair for him to play on a women’s sports team. Why? Because he’s a sane person.

The people claiming otherwise clearly have mental issues.

Besides the “stolen” 2020 election, the “Radical Left” is the other big lie. The overwhelming majority of democrats are basically centrists. It’s not radical to want affordable healthcare for all Americans, reasonable gun control, treat immigrants humanly even while deporting illegal immigrants, treat non-white, non-Christian, non-straight, non-male people with dignity and equality, not murder American citizens who are protesting, expect billionaires to pay their taxes, expect Epstein’s pedo ring to be released, expect global diplomacy and no wars, affordability, etc. These are things Trump has made MAGA believe are radical and un-American. He is a master at propaganda, I’ll give him that.

However, the right is indeed radical, with Project 2025 and horrific concentration camps, destroying our global reputation, destroying public health systems, stripping affordable healthcare destroying public education, waging wars, letting prices soar while building golden ballrooms and Trump enriching himself and building monuments to himself. We are a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Yet somehow our own citizens are sadly duped.

Decades down the road, in hindsight, it will be shameful and inconceivable. Similar to that other period of time in that other country with that other evil guy we’re not allowed to mention.

In decades to come, the extremism of both sides will be recognized. The left is on the wrong side of history for many issues. Of course, MAGA is too. But this is not a period of time where the left will be seen as a force for good, overall.

Pro choice
Pro healthcare
Pro positive economic growth
anti-fascism
pro civil rights for all

Ya, these are horrible and on the wrong side of history.

Shrug. Not my fault if you aren’t capable of thinking.

Let’s pick one idea from the left: shutting down schools for two years at the behest of the teachers’ unions. We know now that was disastrous and did not save lives. This is not going to be remembered kindly.

Of course MAGA has their own bad ideas that will not survive the harsh view of history. But to pretend the left doesn’t have their own share is silly.

What schools did democrats shut down for 2 years? My classroom shut down in March, ALONG WITH CLASSROOMS AROUND THE ENTIRE WORLD! Kids were back in the classroom in November, in a hybrid setting (which they actually loved). In January, we returned to all in-person. This was a pretty common sequence of events. What schools did democrats shut down for 2 years? Please be specific.

I’m in California. My child’s public school did not go back to quasi normal schooling with a teacher in a classroom until around spring of 2022, and back to normal schooling until fall 2023. Except at that point, kids were so far behind that it’s remedial, not normal.

Until that point, there was some variation of outright cancelled, remote “learning” by video, “teacher in a box” where they opened the classroom but propped a computer on the teachers’s desk (you can imagine how well that went), every other day attendance, etc.

The learning loss data is devastating. Many kids are functionally illiterate, far worse in the most vulnerable populations. California children read at worse levels than Mississippi children.

This is done by blue Democrats alone. They sacrificed the education of an entire generation to give more to an already bloated union.

Oh please you are an idiot. https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/mississippi-education-miracle/686731/.

Mississippi wants no age limit for marriage. Mississippi wants women not to vote. Mississippi wants womens rights removed.

Another DP. I happen to agree with you that biological men shouldn't participate in sports with biological women. Where we disagree is how significant an issue this is. Here's the president of the NCAA testifying about how many college athletes are transgender:

https://thehill.com/homenews/lgbtq/5046662-ncaa-president-transgender-athletes-college-sports/

Out of 500k athletes at a thousand colleges he's only aware of ten who are trans. Ten. So when calling another poster dishonest try not to act like something that happens incredibly rarely is widespread.

I already said that sports is another issue and needs special consideration. But haters are using sports as a crutch to point at and vilify all trans people. You’re the one who needs to seek help. I get it, it’s hard to admit you’re a bigot but you are.

Why, then, does the left pick this hill to die on if it affects 10 people?

Your framing is so incredibly dishonest and disingenuous. And it’s why you and your ilk are on the wrong side of history.

Let’s say there are ten athletes (and that number is probably wrong). As usual, you only care about the experience of those transwomen and do not care at all for the women hurt along the way. How many women lost places along the way? How many were hurt playing against someone much larger and stronger? How many dropped out, were discouraged, were disadvantaged along the way by this prioritization of transwomen over women? How many were gaslit, were lied to, here shamed?

This is a lot more than ten people, but as usual for misogynists like you, you don’t care about the women. You care only for the transwomen, because you are a male supremacist.
