In decades to come, the extremism of both sides will be recognized. The left is on the wrong side of history for many issues. Of course, MAGA is too. But this is not a period of time where the left will be seen as a force for good, overall.

But it’s foolish to pretend like the radical left isn’t a thing. I’m not. I’m talking about creators with hundreds of thousands or millions of followers. Madeleine Pendleton, for example, has 1.6 million followers and her content is almost exclusively about communism. Christian Divyne has 700k followers and posts about all sorts of left wing stuff, including prison abolition. Enby Therapist has 150k followers and their content is heavy on helpful content such as “being a woman doesn’t make you an authority on feminism.” (That’s the topic of one of their recent videos.) I could list another ten creators with 100k+ followings who have similar content.

Weird that enemies of the left were already preaching homeschooling and were undermining public schools long before COVID, but then when COVID hit and people had to keep their kids home and teaching was remote, they thought that was a disaster. It was no more of a disaster than what they were already preaching about what we should do with public schools.
