I mean...if the only way to NOT be a hater is to insist that transwomen and cis women are the same for absolutely all purposes, then I suppose I am a hater. My position is also that of at least 80% of Americans, which I suppose brings us back to square one in this thread.

Good! Sounds like you’re starting to get it. The first step is admitting that you’re a hater of people who are different than you and don’t want to see them have equal rights or dignity. Women, black and brown people, non-Christians, gay people, etc have faced this hate throughout US history. “They” are not like us. “They are in their own universe.” “They” think they deserve equal rights and dignity. Trans people are the latest to face this hatred.

DP. Seek help. Of course trans people (and gay people, etc.) deserve equal rights. However, playing sports against biological women is the definition of UNequal treatment and anyone honest will admit that. You’re clearly very dishonest.

Another DP. I happen to agree with you that biological men shouldn't participate in sports with biological women. Where we disagree is how significant an issue this is. Here's the president of the NCAA testifying about how many college athletes are transgender:

https://thehill.com/homenews/lgbtq/5046662-ncaa-president-transgender-athletes-college-sports/

Out of 500k athletes at a thousand colleges he's only aware of ten who are trans. Ten. So when calling another poster dishonest try not to act like something that happens incredibly rarely is widespread.

Why, then, does the left pick this hill to die on if it affects 10 people?

They don't. That Trump "they/them" ad that was so effective took something Kamala Harris said in 2019 about a policy followed by the Trump administration. She did not campaign on the issue in 2024.

She didn’t need to. Biden had already redefined sex as gender identity/whatever one feels oneself to be.
And Kamala did not set herself apart from Biden in that way or in any meaningful way.

I will never understand why people like you give half a sh-- what someone else wants in terms of pronouns or gender? Or why you cannot comprehend that some people don't fit into a box of male/female. That is biological sex-fine. That is not gender. It's not. And there are many people out and about, walking around the USA, to prove that.

I didn't say it was widespread, so I'm not sure where you got that. The fact is, if it's your daughter who has to compete against even one trans woman, that is UNFAIR. There should never be biological men competing against biological women. Period. I don't know what else to tell you. Perhaps there should be trans women sports teams.

I already said that sports is another issue and needs special consideration. But haters are using sports as a crutch to point at and vilify all trans people. You’re the one who needs to seek help. I get it, it’s hard to admit you’re a bigot but you are.

Nope, you can repeat it all you want but no one here is trying to "vilify" trans people. We're simply saying things you don't like, so you're hoping your use of hyperbole will silence us. There is one issue that the vast majority of people agree with regarding trans women, and that is sports competition. You can take your lame accusations of 'bigotry' and run along.

I really do appreciate the trolling effort.

Haters screaming trolling.

When you use the word “hater” to describe anyone with viewpoint different than yours, it loses meaning.

Hate is not a viewpoint.

Recognizing that people are different than one's self is not hatred. You've asserted that some people don't want others dissimiliar to themselves to not have equal rights or dignity, without saying what equal rights are denied or what dignity is being denied. Instead you've asserted that there is hate.

OK, let’s start with Project 2025.

I did not author any project 2025 documents, what is the relevance?

If you voted for Trump you voted for Project 2025.

Nah, the right doesn't require fealty to every rightwing viewpoint. The right doesn't hang signs saying "in this house we believe like my neighbors do to show conformity". This is a major weakness of the right and its promotion of individualism, even if many show cult like behavior.

DP. A "weakness"? I'd say that's a strength. Democrats require other Democrats to toe the liberal line 100%. Any deviation from that results in LWNJs calling them "MAGA." I don't need to swear fealty to one particular party to feel most aligned with them.

because compelled speach of any kind isn't cool.

Anyone is free to call themselves whatever they want, but you can't force other people to call you whatever you want anymore than you can force people to have particular viewpoints, religious views, or moral systems.

Unless you're willing to end the 1st amendment.

It's a weakness mostly because as rugged individuals they don't band together with like minded others. It's a way to retreat rather than confront problems.

Apparently, the PP "doesn't remember" the absolutely cringe ads for Harris/Walz which showed "real men" being "manly" - or so the Democrats thought... just awful. Could easily have been an SNL satirical commercial.

DP. I’ve said before that it is far from being the most important issue. But it is one the Dems got very, very wrong.
I do not like being gaslit. I do not like being ordered to ignore what is right in front of my eyes. I suspect others don’t either.

Frankly, I felt the same way about the border disaster and Biden's cognition. Don't tell me I'm not seeing what's right in front of my eyes. The gaslighting from the left is unlike any other.

You all do realize now that MAGA is the most gaslit population in U.S. history? Letting themselves be duped that Trump cares about them but also the boogeymen thrown at them to make them scared of democrats? Based on the defensive posts here, you’ve all fallen for it. Maybe you’re starting to see the light, hopefully.

OTC, it's the entire country who has finally started to wake up to the demands of the relentless far left. You can see colleges now regrowing their backbones and saying no to trans women competing against biological women. The pendulum is starting to swing back to the middle and sanity.

I posted earlier about my objection to trans women in women’s sports and I’m certainly not MAGA. You need to get outside of your weird woke bubble and see that not everyone who disagrees with you is MAGA.

Biden and Harris are no longer relevant in American politics. Biden's damage to the Dem party is done and over with.... meanwhile... Trump is still relevant and doing his best to destroy the chances of GOP politicians having success in the 2026 and 2028 elections.

Not taking sides in your pitiful partisan debates.. just stating the obvious.

Thankfully there is no other Trump. I don’t know that he will destroy anyone else’s chances because they are…. Not Trump.

Ivanka, Vance, and Rubio are quietly anti-Trump at this point. You'd think the MAGA idiots will catch on sooner than later.
