Except that one girl who’s mom was banging MW.

Even she paid dues. QP controls the money. Need-based aid only.

Is there something wrong with having a soccer scholarship to Coastal Carolina, James Madison, in Mount Olive?

To be fair, a couple of those girls committed prior to playing a minute with VDA. That said, VDA still does a great job with getting girls recruited.

VDA does a great job at recruiting girls to their club who are likely to be college players. They do this by offering players at other clubs to join VDA at almost no cost. That’s why their teams have roster sizes in the mid 20s, it’s the marginal players paying all the fees. From VDA’s perspective the free soccer is like a marketing expense to draw paying customers in using their commit marketing.

It's not just VDA that does this, but yes reduced fees for college-bound players is part of the marketing strategy.

I don't know about "free" but every major club offers greatly reduced fees for top players.

FVU just posted a player committing to college and that player hasn’t been with them for more than six months. Where is the uproar and outrage toward FVU? How about the lack of commitments from Arlington? Where is the thread on DC urban Mom ripping that club apart?

Yes. These schools are for absolutely brain dead students. Brain dead going in, brain dead coming out. Parents must be so proud they spent a decade driving to VDA just so their DD can have a dim future as a player and as a productive member of society. Cannot stress enough how cynical one has to be to think this is Pathway Success.

Well. That is what everyone is chasing here and they love it ( DCUM, bashing each other, parents politics, you name it) The race to nowhere and the FOMO are real with VDA and soccer clubs in general are capitalizing on.

Wait what?! Lmao please make a new thread for this. Screams desperation unless they were on the phone making deals. Did this player switch clubs?

Oh
for sure. But he didn’t expect the gripes, leaks and dirty laundry to pop up. He does have Arl 11s in quite a pickle and destabilized a few FVU teams. Let him cook.
