I've reported a couple of posts but there's too many gross comments to keep up. I'm hoping it's just one deranged person making many comments instead of multiple people.

Again. You can see their underwear in the back. From under the skirt. And don’t tell me that multiple people are wearing shorts this short. They are not. That would be wearing swimsuit bottoms. Look. It is unflattering and insane. Why on earth does the school tolerate this? I don’t want your a$s in my face, ladies. It’s just weird.

omg so sad you don’t have voluntary control of ow f-1ng eyes! Must make things super hard for you-thoughts and prayers!

Oooo, sick burn. Why are you justifying this? It’s ridiculous. The girls look ridiculous, the school looks ridiculous, and it’s just bizarre. It looks porn-y, there’s no way around it.

WOW> The banner has a short-skirt girl. Amazing. In my day, public school shorts had to be middle-finger tip long.

Ours used a ruler from your knee.

Most workplaces wouldn’t allow skirts this short. I’m positive HR would sit any woman down with skirts this short. I wouldn’t wear anything shorter than just above my knee.

It’s not sexualizing girls to not want to be mooned. I also don’t want to be mooned by boys…

It matters. When they are college freshmen applying for summer internships (and later jobs) HR departments are looking at SM photos. One friend couldn’t understand why her newly graduated dd wasn’t getting hired but her SM photos were all very suggestive and inappropriate. Meanwhile we, the mom friends, all had a pretty good clue as to why the job search wasn’t going well.

It’s not just at the coffee shops with school age girls. Cheeks are out in the gym, at the grocery store, in the city, in the field…its cheeks out literally everywhere. More is more, not less. Please put less away already.

I’m not going to reread every single page carefully but I’m pretty sure some replies have been deleted.

DP here. Good! But if people posted lewd comments and they were deleted, that is not a reason to accuse everyone else on the thread of posting lewd jokes. Most of us have not done that.

Also most of us are bothered by the school posting the photos on their website. We aren't the ones "dragging the images of the girls into it." Holton is!

Yes sure. It’s the emperor’s new clothes. They can walk around wearing barely enough fabric to cover their privates and we are all supposed to pretend they are appropriately covered. And if you point out that they are not—then YOU are the problem. It’s ridiculous.

It’s asinine. If my son was wearing as a uniform volleyball shorts and a tight fitting t, that would be inappropriate and odd. Misogyny has nothing to do with this other than it’s misogynistic to act like girls shouldn’t be held to the same standards.

Yeah lol I’m confused by the people here who are more upset about a the pictures being on a thread on a parents’ message board vs them being on the school’s website homepage.
