Most men and women dump their partners once their potential is realized. So many support their partners with higher education, training and early career jobs, only to be ditched later. Loyalty isn't a common trait in this society. Among physicians its a known strategy to divorce first husband or wife before becoming attending physician so they don't have to pay anything in divorce court. |
Nothing wrong with being a "childless and unmarried girl boss" - it's certainly better than working full time plus bearing the brunt of the housework, child care, and care for aging relatives, including in-laws acquired via marriage. |
Same can be said for women. I’m a guy who made in the mid 300’s by age 30 and nearly every single 20 something chick on the apps is below 100k. The difference is most of us guys don’t really care if a woman makes less. |
No, it's really not. Getting cancer with no help and/or dying alone is no treat. |
Except most marriages end in divorce when the wife gets sick |
| So basically both genders are better off being selfish and self sustaining. |
Preach. LOL at thinking “childless and unmarried girl boss” is some kind of insult. I can think of many worse fates. |
No they don't. Even the study that said there was an elevated risk of divorce when a wife got sick was retracted. https://retractionwatch.com/2015/07/21/to-our-horror-widely-reported-study-suggesting-divorce-is-more-likely-when-wives-fall-ill-gets-axed/ |
That’s because you know she will provide you with many $1000000s in unpaid domestic labor. |
Most men don’t want to support or struggle either when it comes to childcare and housework. |
LOL. I always love these valuations of "unpaid labor". The numbers keep going up and up and up. Pretty soon only Elon Musk will be able to afford this "unpaid labor". |
It's fun to make up stories, isn't it? |
Brunch granny, is that you? |
Your disregard of women’s free labor says it all. |
+1, it’s so transparent and sad. Predictable af. |
