Maryland? |
U if Arizona. Hard to be sad when you’re at a resort. |
This is 100% kid specific not school related. |
I second this. My daughter never sees the other 5 or 6 students from high school, and she absolutely loves it there. |
Can you elaborate on why so happy? How is it socially if your DC doesn’t have hs friends attending. TIA |
California, baby! |
Yes. This. My kid is very happy at Chicago. |
Same! My DD is a 1st year at UChicago and is so happy. She has challenging classes and loves the other students. It probably also helps that she has been dating the sweetest young man since early November. UChicago emphasized a few times during orientation how kind the class of 2028 is. I thought it was just a line, but my DD feels like it is really the personality of the class. |
Most. All, really. But any elite school is filled with people who adore it. |
You make new friends? |
This isn’t about “elite” schools. In fact, the kids I know who seem happiest don’t attend “elite” universities. |
Nobody was happy in grad school at UCLA. Happiness in the smaller CA schools though! Also not Maryland. |
