BOOM shakalaka |
You sound smart. |
Don’t be mean. Giuliani also starred as Old Man Unbuckling His Pants in that last Borat film. |
Now play that ad in Pennsylvania and Florida over and over again...
https://thehill.com/latino/4958035-harris-cam...ll-tony-hinchcliffe/ Vice President Harris’s campaign wasted no time making hay of the backlash against a crude comedy set at former President Trump’s Madison Square Garden (MSG) rally on Sunday. The Harris campaign on Monday cut and released an ad tying comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s set, where he compared Puerto Rico to a seafaring garbage patch, to Trump’s treatment of the island. The ad replays images of hurricane devastation in Puerto Rico set to Hinchcliffe’s punchline — “a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean, I think it’s called Puerto Rico” — cutting to a black screen and Trump’s unorthodox pronunciation of “Puerto Rico” at a 2017 Hispanic Heritage Month event. |
Yeah I don’t think this is going to lose Florida for Trump but it would be DELICIOUS if it takes out Rick Scott. |
Omg if Harris held an event that opened with a comedian that called Appalachia an island of garbage, can you imagine the endless sh%t she would get for that? Even if didnt come out of her mouth? Give me a break. His campain owns this. |
Cruz is a fake ass latino and everyone knows it. |
+1 They’re still b|tching and moaning about what Obama said about guns and religion under his breath in PA in 2007. |
They were mad when Hillary said that the federal government would fund jobs for people in Appalachia that were better than coal mining. |
They're still talking about Clinton calling the the racists and the haters "deplorable". |
PA is a horrible state |
Many of them left because after Maria devastated the island AND Trump refused to help them rebuild and withheld necessary money and supplies, people had to leave the island to find opportunities on the mainland. Many of them, like two of my co-workers, are sending money back to the island to help their families rebuild. They are doing what they can when Trump refused to do what he could. They already knew that Trump was terrible for Puerto Rico. Some of them did not have time to go and vote. But I bet that after the Trump MSG event, that very few of them will miss going to cast their vote for Harris. He had started to catch up in Pennsylvania and he's now lost that state and possibly the whole election. And not only Puerto Ricans, but I also know other Latinos who are just as inflamed by the racist and very stupid joke. |
You two are pretty clueless. Yes, PR has no electoral votes. But Puerto Ricans live in many other states in the union, including several of the swing states. And not only did the trailer trash joke offend Puerto Ricans, it offended other Latinos as well. So, Trump was tied in Pennsylvania and probably has lost it. He was leading in Nevada and it's probably back to a toss up. He was leading in Arizona and it may be back to a toss up (yes, there are Mexican Americans who were also offended by the joke and many live in Arizona). |
The National Puerto Rican Agenda’s Pennsylvania Chapter, a nonpartisan organization, is condemning comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s comments on the island and is urging Puerto Ricans and Latino voters to "reject" them on Election Day.
“Those disgraceful and heinous comments have a big disregard on the Puerto Rican/Latino contributions and developments, as well as a message of what Trump and his campaign believe about the 65.5 million Latinos living in the United States, the largest ethnic minority group in the country,” the National Puerto Rican Agenda’s Pennsylvania Chapter said in a statement first shared with POLITICO. They added, “We urge our Puerto Rican and Latino voters of Pennsylvania to reject this blatant disrespectful expression about our people by casting their vote on November 5.” Hinchcliffe spoke at Trump's Sunday night rally at Madison Square Garden and called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." |
Aren't Puerto Ricans voting for Dems anyways? They aren't Cubans who vote GOP |
