I get that many Maga voters don’t really give a damn about Puerto Rico or Puerto Ricans, but how can they vote for a person, and a campaign that is so terribly run? Such a dumb thing to say, not have been vetted, and no, Trump cannot wash his hands of this blunder. If he is not capable of running a decent campaign, how can he run the country?

I think their take is that we’d just have to accept whatever poop they doled out. It’s not like Project 2025 fascism demands excellence or anything, if anything it demands gutter people and gutter politics getting their way.

GOP flipped governorship in Puerto Rico. The media created a false storm of outrage. Period. Maybe if they told everything straight — like how Biden isn’t fit to be President — the Dems could have run a better candidate.
