Puerto Rico

Enough is enough. It's been years of Trump and his campaign spewing out divisive, racist, woman-hating nonsense. Tucker called Kamala a "Low IQ Samoan" at the same rally and Trump will never disavow that either.

Respect to our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters for real for showing us how to swiftly condemn Trump's nonsense!

Do you mean the solid waste disposal issue facing the government of PR? Many municipalities face difficulties of how best to responsibly handle solid waste.

The solid waste dilemma in PR is compounded by limited financial resources, certain governmental inefficiencies (aka corruption), and frankly, space (hey, it is an island).

We should not deny a serious issue facing the US citizens of PR. But it is also unhelpful to make light of the solid waste crisis there, or any serious environmental issue.

I doubt most people know anything about PR's waste management problem and thought this comedian was referring to the people.

Remember when Trump wanted to trade Puerto Rico for Greenland? I’m betting quite a few Puerto Ricans still do. I hope the Harris campaign reminds them.

He did not. When asked about it, he said he didn't know the guy, he didn't hear the guy, blah, blah, blah.

Correct. He said to ABC News: “I don’t know him, someone put him up there. I don’t know who he is.” He did not apologize. He is as predictable as the fact that the sun will rise tomorrow. When caught in something 1) always deny knowing anything about it and 2) never apologize or take personal responsibility.

YA reason that he is not fit to be president. POTUS needs to take responsibility and do things about issues and problems. When a problem comes up, he needs to investigate (or have staff investigate and report to him) and be on top of things. He needs to have the energy and mental commitment to stay on top of things and keep watch so that he can be proactive about problems more often than reactive.

Trump is none of those things. He is in advanced age-related senility. His inability to stay focused and his inability to remember what his plans were or what his thoughts were two minutes ago are evidence that he doesn't have the mental strength to even be reactive to everything. He definitely does not have the focus to be proactive on anything other than "enemy within" conspiracy theories and punishing his political enemies. He will do nothing for the country and only things for himself. If it benefits him, he'll do it. If it doesn't, he doesn't matter how much of Rome burns while he fiddles.

We are trying to replace another aging President who was moderately to fully functional when he was was elected but is no longer functional. Trump is barely functional now and will not last until the mid-terms. We have to learn from the last four years that we cannot go through this again. Even if Harris is a weak candidate, she is still not in age-related deterioration and she will be able to remain mentally competent for the full term.

DP. The PR government is a cesspool. Why do you think the citizens are fleeing the island?

The island is marred with bureaucratic dysfunction and public corruption. It's common knowledge they have landfill issues. The main island is quite literally being consumed by overflowing landfills, see: https://www.ecorichenv.com/article/puerto-rico-landfill-problems
