I live in Takoma Park. I’m voting for Trump!

I most definitely would not vote for Hogan for Senate. That's the level we need more Democrats in.

True conservatives aren't pro trump.

They are now when the other option is a socialist who's trying to take away my private health insurance.

Lol. Is that what FOX has told you? Yet you’re fine with taking away Grandma’s Medicare? I guess you don’t expect to live long enough to need it?

For the sake of your argument, having a public option won’t take away your option to purchase private platinum level plans for yourself, or to pay out of pocket for providers and services that aren’t covered by a plan.

No kamala's own mouth thats where I heard it.

Dems have their head in the sand. Kamala literally said she wanted to get rid of private health insurance for universal healthcare. I will vote accordingly. Politicians have no places in taking away my own private healthcare that I pay good money for.

I would be thrilled to not have my healthcare depend on my employment. I have no problem with universal healthcare. I have a friend on one of the Maryland plans and it has been very good for her. She has a rare form of cancer, and every type of treatment her doctor recommends has been approved

Lol lol 😂 bs ask a Canadian how long they have to wait to see a specialist.

I judge. Silently. I'd literally ever say anything, but I would think OP is stupid.

BTW you are probably Latina from one of the countries that had trouble with socialism. Trump brings us closer to that because he's a populist president. Look at his words in context of our history and country, not that of a different country.

OP here and yes I am a Latina immigrant but I will remind you that I am not a Republican, I am registered independent. I actually agree with Democrats about a lot of things and I don’t think they are “socialist” in that way.
My one issue is immigration. Try to understand from my perspective. I came here legally, I worked REALLY HARD to follow the process, obey all the rules, and work my way up once I got here. I worked hard and earned my citizenship to have safety and a better life for my family. Now our chaotic border policy, whether you agree that it’s “open borders” or not, they are letting in the very people I worked so hard to escape. Violent criminals and gangs that come here and get amnesty. You say that violent criminals are not allowed here and get deported but they are getting through the cracks and have shown up here in Montgomery County making it less safe. So I am voting for Trump to close all the holes in our border policy. Enough already. And I would be happy to engage with my neighbors if they wanted to know why I’m voting for Trump. If they knew my story they would understand how angry I am about this. Imagine spending over a decade of your life doing everything correctly and finally feeling yourself free of a country run by violent gangs only to have your new home open to the same gangs you thought you were safe from.

I am 15:21, also Latina. I agree with much of what you are saying, especially illegal immigration. There are so many like us, but we are quiet about it because (see all of these comments). My family is voting for Trump. I am not. They said they are not voting for the person but for the ideas the party holds. We live in Maryland so ultimately it does not matter, but many Latinos feel the same way.

DP. How does your family feel about the 2nd point on the Republican Party Platform?

Note that the plan to “carry out the largest deportation operation in American history” history says nothing about “illegal immigrants “. Does this trouble the Latino Republican voters at all?

We are US citizens.
But to answer your question, it does not bother any legal immigrants that I personally know.

Good to know. Thank you for responding to my question.

Once it's on TV, with crying women and children forced on buses, you bet that suddenly people will find their heart. But those people who aren't bothered are stupid (has to be said) and if the visual is not right there in front of them, it doesn't exist. Much like people who don't bother about 35K civilian deaths in Gaza, but if you showed them what a child dying under rubble looks like (screams of pain over days, without pain meds, limbs shattered to pieces, no quick death)... then they'd find a conscience quickly.

Maybe Hamas should not have repeatedly picked a fight with a much larger, smarter or more lethal enemy so many times. It’s like a guy breaks into your house, rapes your mother, grandmother and sticks your child in an oven then complains about how you retaliate. If these pussies stopped hiding behind women and children you would not see these deaths.

If you live in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or any big city…not that long.

I mean…people are blind to the fact that the US has healthcare deserts in many rural areas and you have to wait a while to see a specialist even in the DC area.

Yet, the US is the only modern country where healthcare bills are the leading cause of bankruptcy.

Don’t do it. Dems can be unstable. Many people quietly support Trump, all that will matter is the electoral college numbers come November.

Go on ahead. As Malcolm X said, better overt than covert racism. Also, everyone should be aware of those who don't support democracy or the Constitution, and do support a candidate with 34 felony convictions.

I don't like what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

Ahh but all the whites who always vote Republican no matter what are smart, right? They're certainly not voting against their interests.
