Yes well take a night of drunken sex with him. Anyday. |
There is the size of j los ego and to consider. |
Ah same. I feel bad about it later |
lol. Maybe but probably yes. |
I haven't seen this questioned a lot but it's been on my mind after reading their people article. Why do you think Ben agreed to propose and have the wedding in the first place? Shutting her up is a weak excuse. |
Agree. I think if they just wanted some space they could live in the same house and live separate lives for a little while while working things out. Clearly they are moving on and ready to end the marriage. |
Seems like it’s his addictive personality kicking in. It’s fun and intoxicating to be infatuated with someone and so romantic to do a wedding and honeymoon. But a marriage is not the wedding and honeymoon. It’s constant compromise and settling into companionship after the honeymoon phase, and he’s clearly not equipped for that. People can blame her, but it takes two. |
She caught him on the rebound after Ana de Amas disappeared suddenly. He thought he had that all wrapped up but she wanted kids / to move and both were off his agenda. Jlo offered familiarity, she wasn't going to be needing any more kids and was willing to relocate back to LA. I don't think he looked past fixing his immediate loneliness and got swept up in it. |
Many have said Ana and him was just a PR stunt for a movie they made together. Not sure if it ever was released. Also heard she wouldn’t do the promotion of the movie with him. |
Yeah hard to know with a romance like that if it was real or not. Often I think those kind of relationships, where they meet on set, are together for a bit, then split abruptly, are sort of a combination of "real" and PR. I do think it's easy for people to fall for each other when they are filming a movie like that together, especially when the people involved are beautiful and/or magnetic, as most famous actors are. But it's also just convenient -- you're already around each other all the time, it helps build interest in the project. I think sometimes it's a weird synergy that is encouraged by managers and producers and is easy to make happen. I will say that knowing what we now know about Ben at this stage in his life -- that relationship was NEVER going to go the distance. 15 year age difference, he's a recovering alcoholic with 3 kids and an ex-wife and clearly struggles with depression. She's mid-30s, no kids, career on the upswing, no reason whatsoever to tie herself to this man. I bet if the relationship was at all serious, every person in her life was like "girl, don't do this to yourself." |
Ultimately, Ben is the drama queen of this relationship. JL makes huge mistakes in public, but Ben stomps off and pouts and smokes and gambles and gets tattoos and stops working and looks like a slob on camera. |
If it was just PR then he'd never have had his kids walking dogs and going on outings with her. That would be cruel. |
Why did Jennifer Garner pick a loser? She seems like someone who knows better. I could have MAYYYYBE seen her having a starter marriage with Ben and then Garner divorcing him after a year or two, but no she cranked out three kids with him. |
He almost immediately knocked her up. Didn’t they have a shotgun wedding? |
Yes, that’s right. |
