He only has 3 kids with his ex wife and his last child was born 12 years ago. He seems to have birth control figured out.

Ultimately, he and she play into each other's vices. They may want to be together on some level, but there is too much baggage they both bring. She seems to want to "push through" the marital issues with no real change. He seems to be over working through hard personal stuff for little payoff.

I don’t know anything about him personally, just what is on the internet, but I think he’s a very good actor. That’s all I care about.

I think Jennifer Garner probably thought she could fix him. She seems like a rescuer. He probably loved being nurtured and cared for, given his trauma. But I agree, he didn't really love her. And he still needed to fill the void.

JLo and Ben both seem to have a lot of trauma and probably trauma bonded about accomplishing success despite challenges and needing to fight for it. I do think they have love and chemistry, they are just so incompatible.

Bipolar=

Depression + manic behavior & risk taking/impulsivity

Without it being treated, rehab won't stick. Often comorbid with alcoholism + stimulants of some sort, nicotine, coke, etc. to self medicate the ups and downs.

Often present in creative people who are typically not med compliant as they are creative in manic state.

I don't know how you could have an opinion on something like this either way. Did she ever love him? Does he love JLo? Does JLo love Ben? Does Garner love her current boyfriend? Truly an impossible question for anyone as far removed as we are to answer. Maybe even impossible for someone close to these people, but at least then it would be a much more informed guess.

Based on my own experience, it is hard for me to imagine having three kids with someone and not feeling love for them. I'm sure it's possible, there are sociopaths in the world, it's just hard for me to imagine.
