Are antivaxxers all just contrarians and conspiracy theorists?

Cool. Just don't force me to take it when its brand new and clinical trials aren't finished yet. I hope they work out very well.

Nobody was forced to get an "experimental" vaccine.

You're quoting the word experimental except I didn't use that word.

Every mandated vaccine had gone through rigorous testing for safety.

Scientists shocked and alarmed “ who put DNA in my mRNA shot “

Does the DNA help or hurt 5G reception?

It helps cancer develop

Ahh. Like meat and plastic water bottles.

Also autoimmune malfunctions

The autoimmune malfunctions from getting COVID are much worse, which is why I actually get the vaccines. One of my coworkers had COVID and developed autoimmunity to their own hair, which is now gone.

I already have one autoimmune disease already, which is why I not only get the vaccines but also mask indoors in public.

I find the pure-bloods to be arrogant know-it-alls. Now that nobody listens to the cdc booster recommendations they have become insufferable.

Pure bloods? What about the quadroons?

But scarier than that, I think social media has essentially brainwashed relatively normal people (about vaccines, but also about plenty of other things). They watch one video, which leads to another, and another, and another, and then they’re starting to think they “know” something about the dangers of vaccines.

My sister, an educated liberal who did get the vaccine, has started sending me videos basically saying some herb is as good at preventing Covid as the vaccine. It’s idiotic, but she feels like she has “learned” from some of the videos—because they have a grain of truth that’s been distorted, for example.

Social media companies are truly messed up and have allowed this kind of nonsense not only to multiply but to brainwash relatively normal well meaning folks. Gen Z in particular has taken the brunt.

Covid vaxxer loyalists have also been brainwashed into a panic. They have 5+ shots and counting, plus covid illness st least once, oftentimes, within weeks of being boostered. They then freak out on family and friends who have had at least one and up to 3 or 4 covid shots AND covid illness at leadt once who say they are not getting further shots. If you are vaccinated up the wazoo against covid, just relax and enjoy your "much milder" covid illness and let others decide for themselves how to proceed.

I don't know anyone who is doing that.

There was an atheist professor who was doing that. But then a Christian got up in front of the class and said, "I have had no vaccines and yet I do not have COVID." The professor was ashamed. And everyone clapped.

I'm not getting the reference? A book?

It's " everyone clapped" meme.

Hah, the second entry is a (pre-pandemic) 2019 entry about an anti-vaxxer mom:
"When the doctor stabbed my child with the syringe, I lunged at him and took it out before he could inject autism into my child, and everyone clapped."

I am a pro-vaxxer who thinks that maybe all the reported "learning loss" is actually a result of kids getting covid and having it affect their brains -- I think covid has been shown to constrict vessels and make it harder for people to think etc.

No. When my niece was in nursing school, about 5 years before the start of COVID, one day she told us her instructor said if a new vaccine came out the nurses should not take it. It was okay to give it to patients though. She said this was because there would be side effects that were not reported yet. Therefore, the nurses should wait for a minimum of 5 years before taking a new vaccine to make sure it was safe. What??? This shocked me because as far as I knew all vaccines were thoroughly tested before putting on the market.

So when the COVID vaccine was rolled out swiftly, my instincts told me to wait. I am a senior with diabetes and I ended up getting COVID, but I survived without the vaccine. My niece was frustrated that she was taught not to take a new vaccine, but then was being forced to. She swears she did not get the vaccine, but I believe she did in order to stay employed.

Good memory. I doubt my niece could even name her instructors from five years ago; let alone repeat all the things they might have said.

Vaccinated people still get covid and multiple times in many cases.

I know two people who are true anti-vaxers, as I understand the term. One is, at essence, afraid. She and her doctor believe that a vaccine reaction caused her child's sever disability. None of her other kids are vaccinated now. The other is genuinely mentally ill and believes all sorts of extremely out there crazy conspiracies.

It doesn’t mean that it isn’t without its risks. hence cardiovascular risks are NAMED in the Package Insert.

Please try and reason through the logic.

As far as me reading? … pls.

I’ve offered much to this open forum convo.

Time for me to fly… bye!

Surprise, surprise.

You didn't read it. Remedy that by going back to the last sentence of that paper:
The study’s last sentence says that when someone receives a Covid-19 vaccine, it “not only protects the host from SARS-CoV-2 but also inhibits [spike protein] imposed endothelial injury”.

Spike protein is nasty. Purposely turning your cells into spike protein factories is undesirable to say the least.

No, they are all deplorable.

Signed,
still unvaccinated and never had Covid despite working in person in the last 3 years and traveling excessively around the world.

My brother took the vaccine and then he got hit by a bus the next day.
