No way that he died right? |
I don’t think so. I haven’t played the game but it looks like we get a flashback episode next week. I think he’s going to be (some how) ok. At least I hope, I am loving me some Pedro!! |
Such a boring episode |
+1 |
I thought the moment that Ellie put her head against his back when riding was particularly tender. |
He’s not dead. |
Definitely not dead. Great episode. Good character development. I like that we met Tommy. That is the halfway part of the first game. |
Good episode.
I'm readjusting my expectations a little bit. It's pretty slow and methodical storytelling. I wish we had gotten a bit more Joel and Tommy because that was interesting. Obviously a lot of love, affection, and loyalty, but more going on under the surface. And great acting by Bella Ramsey. She really nailed it when opening up to Joel. |
Great to see Rutina Wesley, loved her on True Blood. Surprised she hasn't gotten more roles, still very beautiful and always has a strong screen presence. |
Thank you! I knew her name and face were familiar but couldn’t place her. She is very talented. |
Tommy looked so different - I had to check that it was the same actor from episode one. Looks nothing like him. |
This is one of the most beautiful scenes in the game. Ashley Johnson nailed it. Side note: Ellie in the Game is voiced by Ashley Johnson who was the littlest sister on Growing Pains. Starts around 1:15. |
I like the series but definitely fast forward through some scenes - walking through a home, walking thru the research hospital, riding horseback thru snow, all those are skipped. |
I would have stayed in that nice Wyoming town. The cost/benefit analysis of traveling to Colorado and being killed (high chance) just would not have been enough for me to go. |
He essentially promised Tess he would do it. Oh, and it could mean the difference between just surviving and living life again. The only ones who seemed happy on the compound were young kids who probably were raised there and knew no other reality. Everyone else seemed morose. |
