Kate Middleton's suit

I don’t like the houndstooth — I’m not sure if it’s the neck or the way it makes her looks so thin or both together. A softer or v neck might make it look less severe. It’s fine, I just don’t love it.

The minty dress, the houndstooth dress and 99% of her wardrobe accentuate her skinniness.

I love the green dress! It’s a mix of fresh, elegant, sexy and unusual. I really can’t think of anyone else who can pull it off.

Twitter is having a field day with the mint dress. Consensus is that her team hates her. Also, green screen. And Kermit.

Yes, Twitter is where trolls thrive, especially those who advance those specific kinds of opinions. People who can keep teams of employees over a decade plus don’t tend to be hated, unlike those who shed collaborators like so many viral cells.

In some lighting, the interior of the emeralds coordinates well with the dress, even though I wish it were a different green and that Catherine had her hair in a middle-parted low pony, severe but elegant, for the look. I think that might have worked well with the sparkle of the jewelry, the form-fitting nature of the dress, and the shoes.

So, you agree she could have done better. Why is it so hard to just say that? She’s beautiful and will make fashion missteps. Her wardrobe trunk for the USA visit has not been a home run.

The fact that you're still on twitter says more about you than I care to know.

I think most of us agree we don't care for the green dress, now please move on instead of being dicks.

That is inline with the whole point of the Earthshot prize, PP -- do you know what sustainability means? Probably not, sweet little dcum-dum.

I'm really at a loss that you guys aren't getting that she wore a green dress because she was here to celebrate the Earthshot prize - get it, "green" = sustainability/good for the earth? It's the same reason that there was a green carpet at the event instead of a red carpet. I mean, too bad the greens clashed, but she wore it for a reason, friends.

And this was the ONLY green dress available to the queen-in-waiting! You’re all so daft.

Of course she did. We’re just saying she could have picked a better green dress.

No! No one could have pulled this off but Catherine did! I’ll die on this hill.

We all get it and agree to the sentiment- but there are many shades of green and this particular one wasn’t the best pick for her coloring. BUT she still looks fabulous as always

Now that someone points it out, everyone is like "of course that's why...".

I think she looks lovely in this photo. If that's the true color of the dress, than I have no issues with it -- it goes well with her coloring and the off the shoulder is really flattering.
