Of course she did. We’re just saying she could have picked a better green dress.

Now that someone points it out, everyone is like "of course that's why...".

Emerald green would have been much prettier on her. No one is hating she picked green, just THAT green

I love it - grass green!

The green color of her evening dress reminds me a lot of the color of one of Gwyneth Paltrow’s outfits in Great Expectations. This shade of green was popular in the late 90s and I’m not surprised to see it showing up in current fashion. I do love emerald green too, though.

np who also liked the green dress. Of course she could have chosen an emerald green, she chooses emerald green all the time. She does not get many opportunities to wear something more playful or youthful. I am very glad she wore this fun, surprising dress.

I think the green dress was a terrible mistake. The color matched the carpet! She looked like The Grinch. A green monster. An absolute disaster...and the bra and the waist line? Hideous.

However, from the neck up she looked great. Loved the necklace, makeup and hair.

Even a Kelly green would have worked better

I think she looks perfect every single day.

She is an icon.

She looks fabulous in the green dress.

Americans just don’t get it.

She wanted to pull a Meghan Markle but failed.

Just stop with the hate. No one wants to be Meghan Markle or look like her.

Kate is sublime and looks fabulous; she’s a credit to her crown and country, her clothes are stunning and her behavior and demeanor impeccable. She needs nothing from anyone.

Meghan is aging much better than Kate though.

I'd kill to be half as gorgeous as Meghan. Katie is very pretty and dresses well. But Meghan is beautiful.

LOVE her hair, choker, and the form of the dress. I am not a fan, even a little, of the color. On anyone.
