Very sad for her two children, one of whom is only 13. Very sorry for her that she didn’t get treatment, bad way to go.

This is incredibly tragic all around. My heart goes out to her family.

That’s very sad. Her life shouldn’t have ended this way.

??

I don’t get this. Why not? Why do you get to decide how someone’s should or shouldn’t end?

It IS very sad.

And so is driving a vehicle under the influence of cocaine. How fortunate that no innocent people were killed or seriously injured.

If she didn't want her life to end like this than she should have follow treatment.

It IS very sad that we don’t take mental heath issues seriously and because of that our societal Karma is that our live and our children s lives and our communities’ lives are in danger.

I just read online that Anne Heche is on life support now & is not expected to survive her injuries.

Apparently she has suffered severe brain injuries + is only being kept alive to see if her organs are still viable for donation.

While I do not personally agree w/what she did - I am sad to see how sadly her life will conclude.

Why is this even news? Anne Heche hasn't acted in years. She's no longer celebrity status. Yes, it is sad that her life ended this way and she essentially ruined another person's house and possessions along with it, but I'm surprised by how much attention this is getting.

Too bad it happened but out of 7 billion people living on earth, she probably had better life than 99.99% of people.

Except this looks very much like a suicide.

The article I read stated that her car "collided with a two story house." That's a very interesting choice of word and not at all accurate. How about crashed into?

While I agree 100% that our country is dismal in its support of mental health issues, someone with the financial resources that she had certainly had many, many options available to her. I understand that she was most likely self-medicating with alcohol and other drugs. I also believe that she could have had access to top-notch mental health care that is not accessible for 99% of the people who suffer with mental illness.

Tragic ending.

I feel bad for her children and ex.

She was photographed buying a red wig not long before the accident. I wonder why she would do that if she was planning to drive into a house and kill herself. I'm not sure I believe the suicide theory.
