Not at all schools. Maybe this will change? I think some schools are playing politics. It’s so sad we have come to this. Biden voter before I get attacked. Vaxxed and boosted. Don’t want to be told I have to get a shot for my 7 year old who has had Covid. Policy announced in summer.

Right--NCRC just emailed (3 weeks before school starts) that they are requiring the vaccination. I also am vaxxed and boosted (as are my older kids) but I don't want to get my 2 year old vaxxed who just had covid.

Just get a fake vax card. It's super easy.

There are plenty of school that do not require vax, you are a pu$$y for faking.

The policy came out a week ago! We would not have stayed at the school.

You aren’t obligated to stay.

Our school never tells anyone anything until the last minute and then are never available for anything - on tests, issues, curriculum, protocol.

GDS?

Didn’t BVR require vax last year (and for summer camp this year)? So they are walking back the requirement now?

It was never required last year (but encouraged). Not sure about Summer.

It'll be left up to you and some teachers will when school starts.

This family was thrilled to learn yesterday that SR will be mask optional, no screening, and no vaccine requirements. Glad to see realize most families want normalcy.

Agree! So happy. Thank you Stone Ridge for allowing us parents to make this choice and following the science. Common sense ain’t that common it seems with other schools. Sorry for people in the horrible situation in other schools. It really makes no sense and is a complete over reach.

I would ask these schools with this requirement what is the end game? How many shots for Covid will they want? Will they follow science or play politics with children?

I am a school year family 2 BVR - not summer 2022. it was never required - just strongly encouraged. Families were told to anticipate possible mandates later, but it was not a requirement given FDA approval at the time.

Thought this was going to be an old thread that someone revived. I can’t believe there are still people talking about masking kids at school. Do you follow the news at all? Masks are not great for kids.

Bullis is mask optional. No more weekly testing, no vax requirement for students. Faculty must be vaccinated and boosted.

Can't wait until all your kids get monkey pox. Masks aren't just for covid these days!

LOL, another clueless and anxiety ridden parent.

You think masks aren’t good for kids because it bothers you.

It impacts socialization. My child is going into a new school and I don't want her dealing with not being to read social cues. Masking absolutely harms socialization, especially for new students.
