OF COURSE police lives matter. But it was turned into an insult because it was taken up by MAGAs as a rallying cry, MAGAs who believe Chauvin did nothing wrong, as if it's fine to commit extrajudicial killing of an unarmed, upset but non-violent black man over a supposed counterfeit $20 (we never did actually find out whether the counterfeit $20 bit was even true in the first place). True. And we have always had conservatives. But this current breed of conservative is hateful and ignorant - like the Nazis. It’s far worse than just fear - it’s more like insecurity and, frankly, low IQ.
