I grew up around highland park. It's white, safe and lots of money there. I cannot believe this. Shootings really can happen anywhere, so scary. |

Of course they can. That’s why a significant portion of the country wants to get rid of them. No one is safe. It’s insane that we continue on this way. |

Just watched the press conference. 6 dead, 24 seriously injured. Shooter is a white man, age 18-21. He has not been caught yet but rumors about him being barricaded with hostages are not true.
I have several friends in that area. Fortunately the one who was at the parade is safe. This is horrific. |

Highland Park, IL is a very wealthy north shore suburb. This is so horrible. Americans watching a parade celebrating America and they’re mowed down.
You do not have freedom if you can’t watch a parade on the 4th without fear of being shot! |
