"After 12 years with FC Richmond, this late-October, Sunday afternoon contest marked the last time Taitague will play at Huguenot Park, the last time he will play on the field where his soccer career began when he first laced up in FC Richmond blue as a 5-year-old."

Brush up on your googling skills.

He started at FC Richmond and he finished there, but it is a fact that he spent 1-2 years playing for Richmond Utd, as did his brother Alex.

Yup, if you are a YNT player and you are committed you are free to walk away, play HS soccer your senior year and move on to the next chapter. Many kids do, especially in VA because HS soccer is the Spring season. There is not much more incentive to play DA for the final 6-4 months of your school career.

Just to be clear, he played 2 years of high school.

He played 1-2 years for Richmond United. Here's an old article still on the Richmond Kickers website (a feeder club) mentioning it:

That's not to say that FC Richmond wasn't by far where he spent most of his soccer career, in the CCL. But facts are facts.

Not PP. They don't indicate age group. I assume it is for the same one your DD tried out for. I think they all went out today as the WS website has been changed.

I doubt that. I'm just curious as to how things are moving along.

Got one.

My kid is a 2006 and our's does not say the team.

2006s are listed as either 13U or 14U in the offer. At the tryout she was mixed in with 2005s at different times.

^^^Are you going to accept? Strategic timing with some ECNL tryouts being next week...

Found this on WS website:

We are well into our ID sessions for roster selection for 2018/19, with many players receiving official offers beginning April 27, 2018.

So-looks like today was first day of offers after the recent ID sessions.

$250 to RSVP spot is less then every club we've been at.

Any word on who will coach WS 05 and 06 teams?
Anonymous
Call Tom. I don't think you can accept without a coach ID.
