It's someone he either works with or has worked with.

They know this because they were found tied to chairs.

This just gets more terrifying. Sounds like an episode of Criminal Minds except it's real. Jesus.

i have always thought she was involved, but almost second guessed myself when she revealed she knew about the $40K because I thought to myself that no one can be that stupid.

i think she's not showing the proper emotion to learning what has happened to the little boy she's known since birth and his good parents, as well as her friend. I think she is dumb because she is giving inconsistent stories and talking to the press and essentially making herself a suspect. she may also be an attention seeker.

she should tell what she knows to the cops and go home and shut up.

Dangerous and unfair thing to judge. My MIL didn't shed a tear at the funerals of either of her parents. It doesn't mean anything nefarious was going on. Some people are emotionally constipated.

I agree. My MIL didn't cry at her mother's funeral and they were incredibly close. I, on the other hand, cried so much I was embarrassed about it... and I barely knew the woman. I just cry really easily at emotional events. My MIL doesn't. But she is a very warm and loving person; her crying or lack of it says nothing about her as a person.

Agree. Along the same vein, I didn't cry at my dad's funeral because I was just numb. I would think NG is going through a wide range of emotions, which do not make her a criminal or suspicious in my mind.

Someone posted up thread that the firefighters found $40k in the package.

So they didn't even take the money?? even stranger

Nope. WAPO reported that the money was already gone.

The man who dropped off the money worked as an assistant for Savvas Savopoulos, who owned or was involved in several businesses, according to the officials and police documents. It is not clear whether the employee knew what was in the package.

Bernardo Alfaro thought call was strange, because wife can't drive. @wusa9

So I ask this again. If NG dropped off the housekeeper at the family home and NG rode to the martial art studio with Phillip, and Phillip left earlier than planned, how did NG get back to her vehicle at the family home and was she supposed to give the housekeeper a ride home at 3 ?

You mean Savvas.

Did NG bring the other housekeeper to the home? I didn't realize that was confirmed.

The assistant might not have known but perhaps the company accountant or whoever handles the money knew.

I agree..I've seen it many times myself. Maybe she's in shock or her way of grieving is talking about it..a lot? who knows really because I don't know her personally.

Most of the videos don't show her face, so judging her emotions is difficult. Moreover, one interview I saw said she was distraught and not sleeping well. I think a lot of people's perceptions are based on what they want to see rather than what is actually there.

I have been trying to limit the racially and ethnically-based posts and those focused on NG, but it is nearly impossible to stop them all. I'll keep trying.

That's fair to say that my perception may be biased by my beliefs and certainly I do not know what is going on in private. It is, however, one of the first things I notice. And she may just be careless with her words, but if it does turn out the police suspect her she is going to have a lot of reconciling to do.

So it's routine to deliver large amounts of cash to the house and leave it outside?

The crying might just be the realization that he was there when they were being held or they died, not that he knew what was in the box.

Throw gasoline on them and then light them on fire? I cannot get my mind around this. Why would this be done if not a personal vendetta?

Given that they waited to identify the son and the housekeeper for a day or so, I'm guessing the person who was still alive was either the mother or father, and likely the father if he was the key to them getting/not getting what they wanted. They probably left him for dead and poured gas on all the bodies before lighting the fire. (Ugh, feel sick typing that.) If that's the case, perhaps the father was still able to communicate something to the medics/firefighters.

Jacqueline Rizik, another neighbor, said that she saw firefighters carry a woman from the house on a stretcher. Rizik said that it appeared that firefighters tried to perform CPR before the woman was taken away in an ambulance.

I am a neighbor - Amy was pulled out on a stretcher. Medics attempted CPR.

EMT here -- we begin chest compressions in so many circumstances that might surprise a lay person. As an outsider reading this along with you all, I wouldn't assume that Ms. Savapoulos was clearly alive at the time EMTs encountered her simply because CPR (ABC) was undertaken.

This doesn't prove anything. How would you be acting if you dropped a package off only to find out all of this was happening at the time!

FOX 5 has also learned that a Domino's pizza delivery was made late Wednesday night just before midnight at the Savopoulos' house. The delivery man says he left two pizzas at the front door and there was an envelope with cash left outside.

Nobody knew what happened exactly when he called. They said he called the vetern worker in tears after he got a call that the house was on fire. He just heard the house was on fire and in tears??? I wouldn't be in tears over a house..that's for sure.
