It's entirely possible that this PP is a friend. There have been several comments here by friends of the family.

Earlier people were wondering how the police KNEW they had been tortured. I'm wondering if that original, unedited voicemail message confirmed their suspicions. They might have been able to isolate the background noise.

Most of the videos don't show her face, so judging her emotions is difficult. Moreover, one interview I saw said she was distraught and not sleeping well. I think a lot of people's perceptions are based on what they want to see rather than what is actually there.

I have been trying to limit the racially and ethnically-based posts and those focused on NG, but it is nearly impossible to stop them all. I'll keep trying.

I agree. My MIL didn't cry at her mother's funeral and they were incredibly close. I, on the other hand, cried so much I was embarrassed about it... and I barely knew the woman. I just cry really easily at emotional events. My MIL doesn't. But she is a very warm and loving person; her crying or lack of it says nothing about her as a person.

Please. First of all, in what way is it DANGEROUS to be suspicious of someone with motive and opportunity who is making contradictory statements? That's ridiculous. Second, of course people can grieve in their own way, but I find it a strange reaction and I don't think similar to MIL with presumably elderly parents. It is my opinion that it is an inappropriate reaction given the circumstances which adds to what I consider to be objective facts (and more important than her reaction). I do not know, but I can assure you she would have been on the short list of police witness/suspects initially due to things I already mentioned. All we know is that more than one person was involved and it was someone familiar with the family's routines. (again, I realize that she is not the only one). But how many times have we been shocked to learn a crime was committed by X?

Certainly have no problem with you watching for over the line comments. But I do find it revealing and fascinating some of the race-tinged posts. DCUM - where DC moms learn what everyone is really thinking . . .

So I ask this again. If NG dropped off the housekeeper at the family home and NG rode to the martial art studio with Phillip, and Phillip left earlier than planned, how did NG get back to her vehicle at the family home and was she supposed to give the housekeeper a ride home at 3 ?

Given that they waited to identify the son and the housekeeper for a day or so, I'm guessing the person who was still alive was either the mother or father, and likely the father if he was the key to them getting/not getting what they wanted. They probably left him for dead and poured gas on all the bodies before lighting the fire. (Ugh, feel sick typing that.) If that's the case, perhaps the father was still able to communicate something to the medics/firefighters.

Jacqueline Rizik, another neighbor, said that she saw firefighters carry a woman from the house on a stretcher. Rizik said that it appeared that firefighters tried to perform CPR before the woman was taken away in an ambulance.
