A theory

Kirk talked about Netanyahu having advance knowledge of 10/7, talked about a potential "ethnic cleansing" on PBD, and the final straw was that he talked about Epstein-Mossad blackmail and 100% believed in that theory.

Kirk was still firmly Zionist (still criticizing the Israeli government), but he was a very loose end and was starting to become a liability. Think of the political fallout of the biggest conservative voice identifying as "ex-Zionist" - I think that would be enough to singlehandedly counteract AIPAC's work, if not strongly weaken it. There are also some righties flipping on Israel (ex: Owens) but none of them are near Kirk's peak global influence.

So it's a quin-whammy:

* Epstein distraction
* create zionist martyr
* balkanize left/right further
* Typical Mossad "cleanup" op
* Qatar bombing distraction

All of these boxes intersected at the right time and place - talking to college students about gun violence shortly before heartlessly being gunned down by the people he sold his soul to.

I don’t see any similarities looking at the pictures but that would be an interesting twist. I did wonder if the shooter was an anarchist who was going to target a Dem next to create more chaos - was surprised how fast the left assumed the shooter was “on their side.”

I haven’t heard anyone on the left say he’s “on their side”. I’ve only heard “we know nothing so far”, which is true .

Yeah I didn’t use the best phrasing - I meant Dems assumed Charlie Kirk was killed for his conservative views (and the next logical step is the shooter disagreed with those views and the logical step after that is those who don’t share those views are safe from the shooter).
