|
I posted the message asking why haters are posting crap. Iām not a toll brother rep. I actually live in the estate . A wonderful place. I choose to buy here. The nonsense about how the value will crash and about school rezoning means nothing to me. Why you canāt get that through your thick skull is mind boggling. We who live here love it. Leave the worries to us. Again get lost.
|
| I think the smaller developers are the trolls here honestly. Like someone said, Toll wouldnāt botherā¦and their agents are salaried, not on incentive bonus plans, so doubt they would bother engaging in this forum. |
| This community is really pretty, but I am wondering why no one seems to want the lots 161-166? Like there only seems to be a crazy amount of demand for the lots that face north/east. Also why has only the kalorama been priced up by 20k when all homes could be. |
I think a lot of Asians are partial towards homes facing a certain direction. I remember my parents talking about the direction our house faced when I was a kid and why it was beneficial, and I never understood it. -C Student |
| Indians follow vastu which means their homes must face north east. They also will not buy right now because of shradh, you are not supposed to make big purchases or luxury purchases during it. A lot of indian people make a lot, being the richest by race in the country. |
| Sales will slow a lot for about 2 weeks |
| Itās a pretty diverse community. I think the lot sales are more a reflection of having a better sunset view from the back on that side of the road. |
The windmills are very asian dominated (I am asian and live here) |
| I also live here - in a Windmill - and while there are many Asians in the community, less than half of the Windmills on Ankonian or Potomac Hunt are owned by Asian families. |
I live here, too, in a Hamlet. I agree with the previous poster that its really diverse. Just who Iāve met (by no means everyone): White, Black, Asian, Latino Episcopalian, Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Confucianist Homeownersā age range from 20ās to 80ās Young families, empty nesters, seniors, and multigenerational families It really is a blend of people ā American melting pot. |
