I guess it depends on what you are looking for…my kid went to QO before we moved and his friends were not good kids. At Wootton, his worst friend is still better than the best from QO. The quality of education is one thing, who they are surrounded by and influenced from is priceless.

I have a feeling a housing bubble burst is coming soon; that's why Toll Brothers is trying to sell these lots so fast plus, they priced up 20k on windmills which is annoying. Trust me, they know whats up.

I am into real estate and am an economist, and I can assure you a bubble burst is coming.

Politically, people are trying to assure you that it's not happening, but it is going to happen very, very soon (when you search up "Is a housing bubble burst coming" everyone seems convinced it is not).

They are releasing lots like crazy to lock in crazy buyers at higher prices before the burst comes. When it does, the people buying windmills at 2.2-2.8 million, yup your homes will probably only be with 1.5-2 million tops after. People buying like crazy before a recession is so fun to watch. I want to buy a home in the 2-3 million range but will wait for the recession so I can buy something in resale a little more extravagant, perhaps in Arden virginia (where homes are currently going for 3-4 million)

This community will be rezoned though that should not impact resale value. Wootton is a horrible school, same with most public schools in the area so all my kids are in private school. Its worth the money and if you cant afford it look into financial aid.

Besides people being crazy for the kalorama model this community’s sales finally seemed to have slowed. I wanted to buy a renwick but will wait until the government shuts down and hopefully the market slows or crashes.

Anonymous, where do you find the time to write all your crap? Green must be your favorite color. With envy I mean .You’re so stuck on how the value of the homes will crash.Why that’s your problem is confusing to me. Are you missing funds from your bank account that we may have used to buy these homes? If not, get lost.

Its because when I am spending over 2 million I cant have the value of my home crash. People like to overspend, I dont. If i cant buy this I will buy somewhere else. I dont know why you are so offended…

As a true resident of the community, I’ve been wondering if there aren’t former disgruntled employees or agents from other builders trolling this thread.

Why people not interested in living here even have an interest in this thread is beyond me. Why waste your time spreading so much hate against the current owners/buyers, the schools, the builder, etc? Get a life!

I posted the message asking why haters are posting crap. I’m not a toll brother rep. I actually live in the estate . A wonderful place. I choose to buy here. The nonsense about how the value will crash and about school rezoning means nothing to me. Why you can’t get that through your thick skull is mind boggling. We who live here love it. Leave the worries to us. Again get lost.
