Any idea how they are transporting their banners to hang at the field? That’s a lot to travel with.
well played.

really pushing the envelope on the meaning of "well played" in this context, b/c none of you losers is covering yourselves in glory here.

oh unclench. It was funny. Simple as that.

CARING – CHALLENGING – COMMUNITY.... Bullis needs to work on this a ton. Community not interested in lax!

Sadly the school has a minimal amount of spirit. It seems like the lacrosse players are the ones boosting the other sports games. I remember when we played them in basketball, the lacrosse players were the ones getting the students hype. Seems like those other players are not reciprocating for them. Could also be something relating back to them not being an all boys school. Whenever we go to games (GP)- all of the older boys get the younger ones to go and they show up without a question. Sounds like things need changing on Falls.

I’ve actually noticed something similar at other schools. The most reliable students driving turnout at hoops or football are the secondary team sports boys (e.g., lacrosse, hockey, soccer, rugby for schools that have it, etc., but that favor isn’t returned by the football or basketball guys or even the other secondary team guys (no soccer players hyping lax or vice versa). Only the all boys schools can reliably drive turnout to lax.

Can everyone please shut the fû(k up about this PVI DeMatha thing. It has been over for a few days now. Gonzaga and DeMatha are ideally playing for the #1 seed for WCAC playoffs tomorrow. DeMatha 12 Gonzaga 9. The DM seniors atleast haven’t beat Gonzaga in their years so they are coming for blood tomorrow.

Bullis has a weird community and its very apparent the moment you step foot on its campus.

The school has had an identity crisis for as long as I can remember.

Yep hilarious. The East Boy Fondler HS v West Boy Fondler HS drama is big fun. Loser.

Maybe weird to you. It’s not country club culture. Smaller coed non denominational school that does well in sports and academics.

Paul VI - VA - (6-7) at Tabor Academy - MA - (4-3)
Ooc game to try and get ready for WCAC

Tuesday
Georgetown Day - DC - (1-4) at Jackson Reed - Woodrow Wilson - DC - (1-1)
GDS trying to build a program

Bishop O'Connell - VA - (4-5) at The Heights (11-4)
H with another relegation opponent

Gonzaga - DC - (7-7) at DeMatha (10-4)
Game of the week. GZ looked gassed last week

Episcopal HS - VA - (6-6) at Potomac School - VA - (5-6)
EHS needs this one to stay out of the barely competitive description

St. Mary's Ryken (8-4) at Our Lady of Good Counsel (10-4)
OLGC tops in the WCAC or just an emotion inspired win last week

St James (8-3) at Sidwell Friends - DC - (1-3)
SJ too much for SF

St John's DC - DC - (7-5) at Bishop McNamara (0-6)
why bother category

Blue Ridge School - VA - (6-5) at Landon (13-1)
trap game for the Bears

GZ wins a close one.

EHS by 8+

Landon by 8+. Blue Ridge has a few impressive Canadians, but lacks the depth to hang with the Bears.

I tend to agree with these predictions.

Gonzaga is in need of a win after suffering two losses next week to Landon and Good Counsel. I expect this game to be rather low scoring. I think the Eagles get the bounce back win they are looking for on the road: Eagles 9 - STAGS 8

The Maroon should be able to manhandle Potomac tomorrow, if not that is not a good sign for the direction in which the program is heading: EHS 12, Panthers 6

Landon vs Blue Ridge is an interesting contest. Blue Ridge came out of nowhere last season, with a first year HC, and won the VISAA. All I know is that its an all-boys boarding school in central VA, the school and has been ramping up players from Canada. The Barons have a very good victory over STAB earlier this season but also have a few bad losses on their hands. Landon's depth should be able to wear them down in the 2nd half: Bears 12 - Barons 8 (in a closer game than the final score shows)

agree as well on these predictions

Gonzaga a huge game for sure and looking forward to how that shakes out. I like Stags by 2-3 but would not be surprised by Eye Street getting a win.

Stags Attack are strong but will be up to a banged up suspect Gonzaga midfield to be difference makers.

DM attack and midfielder Nick Church are all going for 5 points tomorrow. Gonzaga will prob run a zone but I hope that the coaches have been working on it this week in practice.
