Not even close, and please tell your Mom and Dad or their sideline pals from Next Level to stop posting transparent stuff like this. It makes you look bad.

Gonzaga vs DeMatha tomorrow should be an awesome game.

Not even close. Had one good quarter against the best team and now the kid is here looking for praise. Giving up over 12 a game in losses is not something to try and brag about. Try learning how to pass.

NP. Isn’t the issue the number of saves and the quality of the saves? He is certainly better than the Landon, Prep and Bullis goalies. Those guys would be giving up 20 a game with STAs defense in front of them even if they can pass better than him. They can’t stop shots like he does.

Not to be rude, and in all transparency- this is biased and opinion based with clear lenience for STA. If he is giving up 12 a game, and mostly going under 50%, then statistically speaking, he is not better than those other goalies. I think overall it is clear and agreed upon that he is worse than the Landon, Bullis, and Prep goalies.

You could bring up the argument with defenses and things like that, however, every goalie is seeing at least similar looks when it comes to shot selection. All of them are seeing mid ranges, step downs, crease, OTR, etc. and if you make saves and are "best in the league" you don't average 12 GA.

Won't ever happen but relegation would really make things more competitive. Also, definitely a trap game for Landon. That BR team is wildly inconsistent but has jammed up a few strong teams.

The DeMatha supporters admit that their kids were fired up after the win, but never say that these fired up kids did or said.
Anyone care to share?

DeMatha waited in the parking lot looking to start something and the younger brother of a PVI player got jumped. A parent stepped in and broke up the fight. They want to gaslight and deflect about this because they're all getting in trouble now for their horrible conduct.

Ask yourself why a group of 10 DeMatha fans got kicked out of the game by the refs after multiple warnings if PVI parents were the ones instigating things. It's laughable.

So kids acted like kids and adults didn’t act like adults?

Wow…so you raise your kiddo to use racial slurs at other kids? Sounds like a Dematha parent and clearly the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I truly hope the Dematha admin does the right thing and expels all of those boys involved. There would be a lot more on DCU about a lot worse things if those boys were saying those statements to my kid or my wife I can guarantee you that.

1. The kid who made the "slur" was non-white.
2. And if you heard what was said, and how it was said, it was not a racist slur. It was commentary on the all white PVI bench.
3. That had nothing to do with the parking violence.

CARING – CHALLENGING – COMMUNITY.... Bullis needs to work on this a ton. Community not interested in lax!

Sadly the school has a minimal amount of spirit. It seems like the lacrosse players are the ones boosting the other sports games. I remember when we played them in basketball, the lacrosse players were the ones getting the students hype. Seems like those other players are not reciprocating for them. Could also be something relating back to them not being an all boys school. Whenever we go to games (GP)- all of the older boys get the younger ones to go and they show up without a question. Sounds like things need changing on Falls.

The boys lacrosse team has lost the support of the school and been given a scarlet letter. Chicken or egg, who know what started it but apparently a ton of drama between the school and lax program the last few years. The stories coming out of there are pretty bad, but typical Potomac drama. Nothing egregious just hurt feelings and finger pointing. It's a very small community on Falls, when lax players and mumsy collide, mumsy starts huffing and puffing and the wokeness prevails.

PVI is flying up to Massachusetts for a single lacrosse game?

so you're saying that it's okay for black students to make racial slurs at other blacks, especially if they real targets are whites. does everyone at DeMatha think that way?

Bullis lacrosse program became nationally recognized under previous headmaster Gerald Boarman.

Its been well documented on here that Bullis was dishing scholarships (sometimes even to families who didn't even qualify for FA) to several high profile lax recruits.

The "well" has now dried up under the new headmaster, Christain Sullivan and the number of blue chip lax recruits is a fraction of what it once was. Ironically the last year of recruits under the Boarman era was this 2025 class - these Bullis teams don't have the level of depth like they did 3 - 5 years ago.

Bullis will drop off next Spring.

Headmaster Sullivan and current AD have put a big focus on their boys / girls hoops program as well as their track programs.

Any idea how they are transporting their banners to hang at the field? That’s a lot to travel with.
