How many banners were ripped down post game?

Two evenly matched lacrosse teams. Not very impressive!

Bullis is a 50k public school for wealthy Potomac kids who can’t handle the grind of an actual DC independent school. It’s also a clearinghouse for really good athletes. If you can run fast and jump high, you are welcome to attend. Anytime. Junior year transfers. Mid transfers. Take the kids that get kicked out of of other schools. Give them all housing. It’s all good out in Potomac. So of course there is no culture.

Pretty impressive college placements. Multiples to all the top 10 schools. Half the number of boys. 1st in Basketball, 1st in Wrestling, 1st in track, 2nd in football. Championship to play for in lacrosse. Funny how a school makes you lose your mind.

I’d check matriculation of students since new HOS came in before I’d go too far on being critical of academics. I feel that is an old stereotype. Just being honest as I was surprised too. The rest I agree with re sports culture.

Any idea how they are transporting their banners to hang at the field? That’s a lot to travel with.
well played.

really pushing the envelope on the meaning of "well played" in this context, b/c none of you losers is covering yourselves in glory here.

oh unclench. It was funny. Simple as that.

Yep hilarious. The East Boy Fondler HS v West Boy Fondler HS drama is big fun. Loser.

You must lead a very sad life. And where in the hell did "boy fondler" become part of a conversation?

Not even close. Had one good quarter against the best team and now the kid is here looking for praise. Giving up over 12 a game in losses is not something to try and brag about. Try learning how to pass.

NP. Isn’t the issue the number of saves and the quality of the saves? He is certainly better than the Landon, Prep and Bullis goalies. Those guys would be giving up 20 a game with STAs defense in front of them even if they can pass better than him. They can’t stop shots like he does.

Not to be rude, and in all transparency- this is biased and opinion based with clear lenience for STA. If he is giving up 12 a game, and mostly going under 50%, then statistically speaking, he is not better than those other goalies. I think overall it is clear and agreed upon that he is worse than the Landon, Bullis, and Prep goalies.

You could bring up the argument with defenses and things like that, however, every goalie is seeing at least similar looks when it comes to shot selection. All of them are seeing mid ranges, step downs, crease, OTR, etc. and if you make saves and are "best in the league" you don't average 12 GA.

The Landon players certainly would trade him for theirs, or maybe they just say things like that to help motivate their guy to play better.

Did you really just take a shot at HS senior?

Landon is 13-1 for a reason. I can assure you the Landon players are very happy with the personnel on their roster.

It's a universal truth.

Hey take it easy St. Albans, why so salty? Another $15K in increased tuition and Bullis will beat you at that too!

I believe Mad Lax is streaming the GZ - DM game this afternoon.

Should be a good one!

Stags have more individual talent this Spring than the Stags but the Eagles have more depth. The heat today will come into play.

Eagles 9
DeMatha 8

The DeMatha supporters admit that their kids were fired up after the win, but never say that these fired up kids did or said.
Anyone care to share?

DeMatha waited in the parking lot looking to start something and the younger brother of a PVI player got jumped. A parent stepped in and broke up the fight. They want to gaslight and deflect about this because they're all getting in trouble now for their horrible conduct.

Ask yourself why a group of 10 DeMatha fans got kicked out of the game by the refs after multiple warnings if PVI parents were the ones instigating things. It's laughable.

So kids acted like kids and adults didn’t act like adults?

Wow…so you raise your kiddo to use racial slurs at other kids? Sounds like a Dematha parent and clearly the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I truly hope the Dematha admin does the right thing and expels all of those boys involved. There would be a lot more on DCU about a lot worse things if those boys were saying those statements to my kid or my wife I can guarantee you that.

Funny you say this because I’m assuming you’re a PVI parent, funny because one of the players on ur team has his scholarship taken for a racial slur. But it’s probably okay to you because your friends with his mom and his rich parents. Stop picking and choosing and move on.

The young man in question stepped up and owned his issue - more than I can say for many adults - and the fact that SJCHS didn't go after all those involved and not just the one who fessed up is something that the leadership in the school and Wes have to live with knowing that they let it play out that way. Also, then not punishing the kids who then fanned the flames with PSU is certainly a black mark on their own. Thankfully the boy - yes boy - has a chance to play at the next level and not let a dumb one-off define any aspect of his life. But let's please stop using his one action - 3 years ago - as a way to define any of the bad actions that happened independent of him. Be better.

Are you really jabbing at the college commits at STA and the 2027 pole starter for NL and the LSM from NL saying they stink and the only reason STA is in these games bc of you? Wow, I hope those guys don't get wind of dcum and how you think they are awful.
