It's no call at all. Lifelong public servants are only good for shark food. Rs haven't met a lifelong public servant who they can support. |
Sondland is also a tax cheat. He's claiming residency at a room at one of his hotels in Seattle when he lives full time in Oregon: https://fortune.com/2019/10/17/who-is-gordon-sondland-testimony/ |
Page 12, paragraphs 3 and 4 show specifics of the quid pro quo.
Anyone siding with the President on this? |

Yeah, the Trumpist caucus is probably rubbing their hands together at the chance to malign yet another Vietnam veteran. |
One thing that's funny is how they keep saying "it's not a quid pro quo". And the Rs pick up on that. "But Trump says it's not a quid pro quo!" If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck... it's probably a duck. |
Be sure to read to the end. The last page is nice. |
He was getting a lot of backlash in terms of protests and vacancies at his hotels. |
Exactly. It is like what they did with "exoneration regarding collusion" w/r to the Mueller report. |
Lifelong public servant is a myth - the only people they serve is themselves. |
Why do democratic underlings have to babysit Rs who want to read the transcripts? Again, if Schiff has to defend the private sessions in the way he did, then those aren't 'the rules'; they are Schiff's rules |
I don't believe that for a minute. This is a repeat of the Mueller investigation, i.e. "don't you WANT it to be investigated? It takes TIME". And lots of cries of "He will be JAILED due to Mueller's findings." Nope. Didn't happen. The goal here is to draw out the process without votes so that Dems don't have to go on record. |
Now you're just pouting. |
What? Do you have any idea what you're talking about? What these depositions are? |
