They were instantly out of the equation. Literal
End of thread.

Wait, so you’re the DCUM sensei? Does that come with dental?

lol. Smartest response I have seen in a while. What does the school being public have to do with it. There a bunch of public school that would destroy anybody in the IAC and WCAC.

Two one goal losses. This team is so much better, in so many ways, than anyone is giving them credit for.

Typical DC scene Talk about GZ, STJ, GP over and over and over again.

Bullis gets it done. Attributed to best, most consistent coaching staff in the region. This particular senior class has had to wait their turn and they have delivered better and more consistently that anyone gives them credit for.

They are a true team and band of brothers. No superstars, just a bunch if gritty, get-it-done young men who are really fun to watch. Goalie, Attack, O Mid, SSDM, every position had guys that can just play. Together they win

You can call GP with their flashy boarders and their new "name brand" coach the IAC champs now. But let's see what happens here. Dawgs can play, bash them all you want.

For those looking to play in the IAC at the highest level in the DMV. Don't keep chasing paper champs. Look for consistency of coaching and body of work. Bullis is a great spot.

For the 2026-2027 school year, Bullis School tuition ranges from $47,500 for Grade 1 to over $57,000+ for upper grades,

How is this relevant?

Poster talking about how you should send your kids to Bullis when very few people can actually afford it. A bit tone deaf.

It's a private school thread. Tuition is comparable. Of course its pay to play. Actually, pay to reclass, then to play. Haters can hate all they want.

Of course financials matter. It also matters if you are Catholic or not to get the WCAC discount. However, if you can pay then Bullils is great option for gritty players who want to compete.

If you need financial aid Bullis will make sure you get it. If you don't need aid then you can expect 10-20% if you are "recruited".

Bullis doesnt give aid to lax players like they do football/basketball/track but they will help. Just like all the other schools on this thread.

Wow, that says something. So much for “DMV Game of the Week” last week with STA and Episcopal. Good for The Heights.

WCAC is deeper than the IAC.

No question this year WCAC is the better league.

I think the leagues are pretty close top to bottom...not in the "no question" zone.

Landon and Bullis both beat every WCAC team they've played including GC and GZ (who you know basically tied SJC if you were at that game). Bullis was up 10-4 on GZ with a couple of minutes left when they played the purple people.

GP lost at GZ but just crushed GC.

The bottom half of the WCAC is horrendous (O’Connell, Ireton, MacNamara)

The upper half (SJC, PVI, GC, GZ) and the upper half of the IAC (Bullis, GP, Landon) are on par.

The middle tier of the WCAC (Ryken, DeMatha, Heights) are likely on par with the likes of STA, Episcopal, and Saint Stephen’s.

Personally I think both leagues are “down” this year or maybe they are now taking a back seat to the big boys in New England West.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good story, in classic Washington DC fashion.
