Hayfield Football Coach Fired

Anonymous
This Cafferky guy who fcps hires is an incompetent fool! He didn't even catch the vhsl technicality/procedural error the judge based his ruling on.

Teams should refuse the handshake line at a bare minimum.

No respect for cheaters.

Ur punishing the coach for?
*coaching who the admin allowed in the school
*leaving one job for another

As was stated from the words of the VHSL guy himself they can’t stop a kid or parent from moving wherever they want to. If anyone sure the intake was high but look at the school staff not the coach

I'm a Robinson football parent and yeah our 3-7 is laughable and believe me we were surprised to make the playoffs too. But our team practiced hard all week somewhat reluctantly and to be told a couple of hours before the game that we're done. No closure especially for the seniors. In every league their is always a team at the bottom. That was Robinson. Fine. But this last minute stuff is not right. But we are moving on because some of us have more in life than high school football.

They don’t have a coach who cheats and is a favored minority. Robinson can go to hell as far as FCPS is concerned.

Damned “favored minorities!” 🙄

(Sarcasm, in case that wasn’t apparent.)

Since you apparently wish to play the race card just go ahead and say it,

He's guilty of recruiting, per the VHSL--the governing body for FCPS sports.

This was just an injunction. The hearing is on Dec 4. What happens with the playoffs if the judge rules against Hayfield at the actual hearing?

If FCPS doesn't want to follow VHSL decisions and rules, VHSL should eject them from the league.

A third team Overton screwed over in just one season.

Not Overton, the VHSL.

Nope, Overton and his PME crowd.

I'm sure the other fcps coaches and teams are absolutely livid with reid and fcps. Why are we condoning cheating and letting cheaters runo seasons of teams that play by the rules?

Yall wanna plane the FCPS lawyer u should be blaming VHSL for not dotting I’s and crossing T’s trying to slide one past and let the head VHSL guy influence other’s decisions (how coincidental that’s what banged Hayfield for to begin with) that it comes back to bite u in the butts. Could make someone thing the agenda is against Hayfield. But have the audacity to continue to talk about follow the rules

Agree.

Kreepy Karen, are you excited to have one more chance to hang out on the sideline with a bunch of other people's kids? Super not creepy at all.

Recruiting? He can’t make a parent move, let’s be realistic here even if he did say hey bring Lil Johnny here, if the parent says no then it’s no

So to cure: all VHSL has to do it go back, put the evidence in front of an "executive committee" and issue the same ruling. Hayfield then can appeal that ruling, which will be denied. Done.

Doesn't look like anyone said no.

Its interesting that FCPS and the Hayfield parents want to open these cases up for full discovery on the merits. Any deleted texts, message or social media posts will lend credence to guilt, of course.

Yep, if they do that by Dec 3, the judge will rule in their favor.
