I think he killed her because she was thinking of breaking up with him. I don't think he would've killed her for being pregnant.

I think he got drunk at Bullwinkle bar (look it up) and came back and killed her in her sleep

He was re-posting dark content on Pinterest in relation to a baby and they both had pumpkin-baby related content on their social media accounts

OMG that drawing is super weird!! Yet another huge red flag.

LEO should have been all over this weirdo.

people still use pinterest? Is this even really his account?

He’s not Eric Rudolph. He’s not likely a threat to public safety. Just wait. He will make a mistake. Even if he’s in Mexico he will ultimately have some sort of romantic relationship that falls apart and she will turn him in.

The resources are best expended right now while the trail could still be hot. If he's alive, he's probably still in panic mode and thus more prone to making mistakes. If he's fled the country, he probably hasn't managed to blend in anywhere yet. If he's dead somewhere, the remains won't last forever and will be harder to trace and identify the longer it goes.

I think the only reason local resources are being used is because they are likely getting some sort of reimbursement from a Federal agency. These small towns/counties don't have the bankroll to do this extensive a search for this long, using all these resources. Due to the publicity, they are throwing all they have at it. You won't see this level of aviation, ground and marine resources doing this level of search for a "normal" criminal, missing person - or even a child.

As for remains, if he was indeed in the reserve it is likely remains won't be found. Unless a hunter opens up a gator's belly at some point and finds them. Nature cleans up pretty quickly in Florida.

The Boston marathon bomber ring a bell? They deployed more, much more, and found him shivering under a boat...also more resources should be devoted to finding cold-hearted murderers and rapists. Then throw them in a cell with the worst of the worst. See how they like it.

DP. The Boston marathon bomber was

1) A massive news event that makes this one look relatively small
2) A hot hot hot trail in that the perpetrators had zero time to run or hide
3) It happened in a major city/metropolitan area with a robust police force
4) Literally EVERYONE on the eastern seaboard was on high alert (this is not the case here)
5) A terrorist event that immediately meant that there was basically no amount of money they would not spend to find that guy

So PP is right, they must be getting reimbursed because resources like this do not get expended for some run of the mill crime. It usually takes something truly extraordinary like, yes, terrorists blowing up marathon runners in a major american city, to have this happen.

No, it's by an artist, Sacha Strange. He pinned it on Pinterest, meaning he identified with and liked it.

So did the parents leave with the “attached camper” and come home without it? Or they just used it to transport/drop off supplies but then brought the camper back with them? Seems like it would be easier to find a missing camper than a person, right?

DP. I think he's guilty and from the police video, I think he's an abuser. But people might pin anything on pinterest that happens to strike their eye.

I'm not a big fan of acting like anyone who might find this art interesting is also a murderer. That is unfair to the artist and just generally to the many many people who like art like this who are not psychopaths.

Of course. I assume the artist is not a murderer. I like this piece of art, and I'm not a murderer. But you can get some clues about a person based on what they like. I agree not to read too much into them.

OJ managed, depending on how your definition of “fair” relates to insane national media coverage.

Even if he's entirely innocent of murder, at this point he's cost tax payers hundreds of thousands of dollars in searching for Gabby, then her body and now himself. He's not big on "fair."

He has made millions of $$ for the media companies, and they pay: taxes.

Fair.

I was only trying to clarify how Pinterest works, because it would be easy for people to get the wrong impression that Brian drew it, if you don't know about Pinterest.

I hope that the artist gets only positive and not negative attention from this.

People are also dissecting Brian's playlist - it's just like that, he liked a song with a morose theme. It's definitely not the musician's fault, and the musician probably didn't murder anybody.

That persons art reminds of those old timey Halloween Cartoon videos of the 30s

I don’t care if an artist drew it or he drew it. Normal people wouldn’t have a drawing like that - let alone post it all over the web.

Her parents should have realized this guy was a creep, a weirdo, and a murderer. Heck, you can see it from the way he dresses and the way he looks.
