They after the conference playoffs are over, the DMV should start doing a WCAC IAC and public school showdown. Top 3 Teams from each and have a big playoff that would be a lot of fun

These rankings look about right. I'd maybe swap Episcopal with PVI, even though EHS beat PVI earlier in the season, but it might have been a fluke.
St Albans also just knocked off Episcopal on Thursday. Georgetown Prep is quietly starting to rack up some wins, the Hoyas vs Bullis next week will be a game to watch.

PVI is better than their record shows them to be; they los to DeMatha in OT and lost to SJC by a goal in the past week. The WCAC playoffs are as wide-open as they have been in well over a decade. I really believe any one of these teams has a chance to bring home the trophy: GZ, SJC, PVI, DM and GC.

That’s all well and good, but what about the PVI and DM soap opera? And shouldn’t all this Jesus talk generate atleast one Heights homer post?

Heights don't even need to be mentioned for you to cry about them. You might as well be the Heights Homer at this point.

Man that is harsh! Intriguing. But harsh.

I was the one that said GC is all hype. I also think that’s the most impressive win of the season - GC beating GZ by a handful. Thank you for proving me wrong GC and congrats on beating a big dog.

Great game for GC but that might have been the worst game I've seen GZ play in ages.

22 went out in the Landon game with an injury. Good player. Has he been out since? I hope he gets back to it.

Don't think he played for the GC game which explains a bit.

PVI is 0-5 against DeMatha over these past 4 years… They need to shut the hell up and beat DeMatha before they start putting up banners and putting hands on minors.

I was at this game. The sign wasn’t just a small single “pvi sign” two PVI moms came 2 Hours before the game when no one was on the field , hung up banners on both sides of the fields seating bleacher, 3 more 10 by 10 feet banners on the gates surrounding the field to make it 8 Total. mind you this is DEMATHAS home field , anyone in there right mind doesn’t do this , PVI parents are to old to be pulling this crap. The whole altercation happened because after the win , dematah pulled the banner down and the PVI moms and dad were salty and decided to assault minors.

The PVI vs DeMatha game was horrid to watch, as a lacrosse enthusiast. Firstly, PVI kids being outright disrespectful yelling slurs and racist remarks to many kids on the team. With the history of some of the boys on that team and their issues with diverse and cultural topics in todays world, I'm suprised the school hasn't taken administrative action against that team already. Next after the game, a physical altercation between players and eventually parents began, with a PVI parent harshly shoving and assaulting multiple boys who were just trying to settle the conflict. The police had to be called, but the PVI assaulters had left at the time, and the remaining parents/kids dismissed the idea of a police report. It's clear the PVI boys had an intention of pillaging and seizing the DeMatha boys land, and it should be made aware for any team they are about to play to lock the field to combat their constant destruction of property and have security to escort the parents and their boys away from any more future victims.

What??
the racist slurs were by the DeMatha baseball players against the one Black PVI player, calling him a token. This is the first anyone has said that the PVI players made racist slurs. Give some specifics or I call BS.

I have never heard of visiting teams hanging banners on home teams property. Is this common?

Oh good grief. No one in their right mind gives AF about this crap. Neither team is cracking the top 50 or even 60 nationally barring some mass norovirus afflicting Vinyard Vines customers so FFS go away already.

Would not be the first time. The players on the lacrosse team specifically the 26 class has used the n word towards players many time. This is not a surprise at all!

Dematha mom is try to gaslight, this is all Dematha issues. They need to clean their act up. But I also agree that an opposing team putting up signs is not a good look. I think the problem is that Dematha needs to get a real home field (connected to their school) so it’s not confusing.

The PVI moms worked hard to make and hang the banners themselves. Couldn't a DeMatha staffer have politely explained the policy and asked them to remove it? That would have been better than having the kids rip it down and destroy it. Also, guess we now know why the no-banner policy exists.
