That’s a non answer from someone hoping to recoup some of the money they have lost on her. Sure, she has great fashion, but it’s basic rich lady clothes from neiman marcus. |
Exactly what last name is she supposed to take of her husband’s that would not be royal? You’re complaining for complaining sake. They could be the Mountbatten-Windsor’s instead, but that’s still Royal and people would still be complaining they are trying to be royal. I don’t understand the criticism for her wanting to take her husband’s last name, whatever it may be. Are they supposed to make up something totally different — if they did, people would say they’re purposefully being critical and demeaning of the royal family. Is he supposed to take Markle as his last name? |
Because she previously made a big stink about them how the traditions and members of the BRF were trying to take her name and her identity. She was very adamently against that and criticized them for it. This was well after she was married. So if they are all horrible and despicable people for trying to take her name and identity - why would she change her name or identity? |
In her Oprah interview, she compared almost losing her name to losing a baby.. |
+1. Now she knows for sure that it is the royal connection that people are interested in so she backtracks on the surname. She can be Princess Henry too but she wants the Meghan to be prominent in her brand, hence she is often using her first name only, like Cher and Madonna. |
lol. She’s so damn dumb and shameless. |
Funding her lame as reality show is not about making money. It’s about humiliating the thrown. This is soft power intel shit. |
'I've lost my father, I've lost a baby. I nearly lost my name… There's a loss of identity." |
She is the Drama Queen of Montecito. |
She was really going for that Razzie with Oprah. Kohl-rimmed Diana/baby panda eyes. Waity Katie. So so so so so hurt! I lost my name….it was her attempt at Alex Haley’s Queen, but lie-packed and totally delusional. She thought she had the world by the scrote, but sadly she ultimately only controlled her dumbassed H. Let’s see how fast Sarandos lets her go after “series 2” of this shit gets dumped, all episodes at once. Maybe she’ll kill it in Moldova this time! |
I just posted but guys - the Obamas and Meghan are in no way cut from the same cloth. They have done real things and followed genuine motivations across their lives. They are the absolute opposite in terms of accomplishment, integrity, and honesty when compared to Meghan Markle! |
And again, you’re wrong. It’s not just cheap shitty product at this time, it’s free to have it on the platform to try and move product. It’s important for Netflix to claw something back from this dud deal. |
121 pages about this and you all wonder why they left england. Such a bunch of hateful hags.
I watched and it was cute. She is cute. And OF COURSE she wants the same name as her DH and children. And even without Harry, she has her own money and more than most. I'm not sure why she lives rent free in so many peoples' heads. Just don't watch. And STFU about it. |
+1. the thing is, nothing Meghan could do, short of disappearing, would make these people happy. I mean, they were just presented with a nice quote about her from the Netflix CEO and their response was that "well his woke leftist wife has his balls in her purse." What on earth? They will literally never be satisfied. |
I'm a reasonably intelligent person, went to a school less competitive than Northwestern in the late 90s, and did not graduate "with distinction" (good grades, good enough to get into grad school, but I didn't write a thesis so no distinction). I have not lit the world on fire with my career, as I chose to focus on good work/life balance and then on being a parent, so while I've consistently worked in field that demands some intellectual rigor (law), I'm not a superstar or even a star. But I am well-educated, read a lot, follow the news, and consider myself intelligent. I think it's weird that you need Meghan to be a total idiot, when all signs point to her being reasonably intelligent. Just because it was easier to get into Northwestern in the 90s doesn't mean it was easy, and she got a college degree. Also, being a working actress is a "real job" and she absolutely had a real career in that field -- she worked consistently from 2002 to 2018 (and keep in mind for every job she booked, she most have auditioned for many more, which takes discipline, perseverance, and hard work, especially early in your career when you have no resume and have to go to cattle calls). She also didn't have wealthy parents who could bankroll her acting career, so she really had to work for it, take the crappy jobs that paid, and work part time early on to make ends meet while auditioning and trying to establish a body of work. There are a lot of 9-5 jobs that are easier than being a working actor, with better working conditions, more regular hours, less harsh feedback, fewer unpleasant personalities, etc. I think it's fine not to like Meghan or to not like this show. But I don't get why people feel the need to just lie about her and diminish her. She's not some super successful megastar, but like me and a lot of other people, she worked diligently in life and was able to establish herself in a secure and financially rewarding career over the course of a couple decades. She's clearly not a total moron and she's clearly got a work ethic. It's just disingenuous to say otherwise. |
