This thread is about how Biden has been either incompetent or negligent in securing our borders or has some ulterior motive for ensuring millions of unskilled migrants are released into the US.

This is not only a humanitarian issue - it is a national security issue as is evidenced by the large number of migrants who have crossed who are on the terrorist watch list. We have no idea how many of the 1.5 million got aways are also on that list.

It has been asked several times on this thread. What you would do differently or what conservatives have tried to do differently or have done differently.... The answer is everyone fails at the border issue because there is little that can honestly be done that will make a dent. OMG - spare us!! It's been correctly pointed out, over and over, that Biden dismantled any and all Trump border protocols that were working - on his first day in office. He left one, but even that one has ended now (MPP). Democrats raked Trump over the coals 24/7 for his border policies, and now look where we are. Democrats - and BIDEN - are most certainly responsible for the current massive illegal immigration.

Dem here not happy about it but voting for a republican won’t solve it either because they continually refuse to spend money on it. Or are they only willing to spend money on it when they’re in charge…so not really concerned about problem solving, just optics and campaign fundraising.

Republicans have been in charge. Plenty of times to actually start to fix this issue..... We need bipartisan consensus on how to fix it and enough money allocated to do so. Until then. There's zero reason to vote for Republicans because they don't want to seem to work with Democrats at all, which means this will never get solved.

Governing requires compromise. It’s slow, unsexy, and dull. Vote for smart, serious people who will do this work instead of carnival barkers who tell you it’s easy.

Yes. Americans are seeing the result of electing a divisive, polarizing president who has not intention of securing our border.
Biden doesn't enforce our border laws and then makes policy decisions to encourage even more to come.
This is not sustainable. There will be no compromise with a Democrat in office because their position is for open borders and amnesty for millions.
We need border security first - and begin by enforcing our current laws.
