Hi. You can't cry racism when the comment is about the dominant group (white people). Prejudice? Sure. Discrimination? Absolutely. Racism--NOPE. There is no socialized power structure that is a disadvantage to white people. |
Instead of having outside agencies come in we need the police to come and do a version of the old D.A.R.E program. This would actually solve a lot of problems that we are currently seeing with our youth. Educate them on the the horrors of drugs and a life of crime. Maybe we can get Bowser to dress as McGruff the crime dog and really sock it to these kids. What we are currently doing isn’t working as crime is increasing. Let’s try the old school way. |
Any hatred/bias based on a person's race is racism. |

This is what a highly effective teacher writes like? Perhaps you people do indeed need more education. |
Yeah, I knew you would say that. Sorry, I call any discrimination or judgment that's based on someone's race racism. I'm not claiming systemic racism against whites, but I'm not limiting my use of the term racism to that larger problem. |
You’re so pretty. |
Thanks!

Pp post here. Who are you? Shut up! I may have made some grammatical errors on my phone texting. Another example of people needing to get a grip. |
That’s a pretty sad excuse for a rude and demeaning comment. Maybe you could benefit from some anti-bias training on Wednesday afternoons. |
If you’d been to any anti-bias/anti-racism training at all, you’d know that “reverse racism” (aka racism against white people) doesn’t exist. It’s one of the first things they teach you. Racism benefits white people, whether they choose to acknowledge that is up to them. Racial prejudice against white people exists but it is not racism because it exists in the absence of a socialized power structure that results in oppression of the whole group. #facts |
Truth. But good luck convincing the white people who insist they are a victim. If you say anything that doesn't market them all as individuals it's racism. Even though there are some things you cannot opt out of. Like capitalism. |
You are right that there is no systemic racism against whites, but the rest is a matter of how you define the term “racism”. It’s not a fact, it’s a matter of social convention of language, which is never absolute. Progressives have tried to limit the meaning of the term to mean systemic racism only, but they will never succeed at indoctrinating even all liberals in this way, especially those who grew up outside the US. It has nothing to do with whites styling themselves as victims, but with refusing to give members of other races a free pass for denigrating anybody on the basis of their race. |
| Kids have hardly been in school over the past year. They are very far behind where they should be. If anything, we should be talking about sending kids to school longer -- much longer than the standard school year -- to make up for lost time. |
All of these conversations inevitably sound like they are being lifted verbatim from an episode of The Office. |
