You need help. You’re starting weekly threads with much more bile than you’re allowing people to see above, and on the exact same topics you started threads about just a few weeks ago and that were thoroughly debated then. (E.g., “How can anybody remain in the Catholic Church?” How many iterations of that topic do we really need every month?) You need to take a break from DCUM and put your mind on other things.

Thank goodness there are many of us to report you when you cross the line into ugly bigotry. What does it tell you that Jeff generally removes your worst posts?

I have literally never started that thread, or others - although I've read them. Your paranoia is off the charts nutzo.

So you’re a wing man bigot rather than an instigating bigot. Not a huge improvement.

Again, I’m not Catholic. I just watch you haters all the time.

Nope. My mother was sexually abused by Catholic clergy abroad. Call me a hater - it's a compliment by the molester apologists (financial or otherwise).

It’s the broad-brush hatred of all Catholics, the ugly stereotypes of all Catholics, and your inability to see any good anywhere that make you a bigot. Also the perceived need to start repetitive threads every week Again, lots of these bigoted posts get reported by people besides me, and deleted by the moderator.

I don't think she was real, but yet loved her anyway. I loved that someone thought that a middle-aged guy who is an Executive would have some special breakfast that's different from what some other middle-aged guy would eat. She picked the most random aspects of life to wonder about.

If your husband is an Executive, does he put on one shoe and one sock, or both socks and then shoes?
If your husband is an Executive, does he use his parking break all the time, or only on hills?
If your husband is an Executive, does he call your son "Sport" or "Champ"?
If your husband is an Executive, what brand of ear and nose hair trimmer does he use?
If your husband is an Executive, does he give the illusion of being in love with you or is he blatant about his side piece?
If your husband is an Executive, do you cut his meat for him to save him time or will he do it himself?

LOL. I need to look these up.

I thought that was one original poster and all the rest were other people being sarcastic/making fun of her?

Is she the same one who asks if something is "trashy" and "tacky"? She was gone for a while but I just saw a new thread on a different forum with the word "tacky" in the title so she must be back. "My husband says beer is trashy," "Is pasta salad tacky?," "Is driving a domestic car tacky?" OMG. Stop!

The poster who always starts with a "meh" or "eh." Don't have a great name but really annoying.

We are many. We are myriad. We are countless.
We are mostly noncommittal.

- the woman who married the man who will never make a lot of money and is constantly posting about how jealous she is of her friends who married well and how they'll never be successful enough to move out of their 1 br apt.
- the man who chimes in to every sex frequency discussion to talk about his sexless marriage (maybe this is multiple men)

The religion poster who every December like clockwork would make lengthy posts about how Christmas was a pagan holiday and how Christianity generally was derived from pagan religions like Osirisism and Mithraism.

A couple of us countered with point by point refutations of his historical "facts." Some of the posters were quite learned in their ancient history.

He so dependably appeared every December to spread his message, we gave him the nickname Groundhog. No sign of Groundhog last December, however. Am slightly sad about this.

Our old friend Groundhog! Those were fun times. Osiris’ penis fell off, he got a new gold prosthetic, and that’s supposedly the source of the Christmas story. I, too, wondered where Groundhog was last year. I presume s/he’s still around, starting the weekly, hostile “Christians answer me this” threads.

Why are you assuming that person's gender?

Groundhog was definitely atheist. But we did not hate him/her. We simply wanted him/her to be more critical of the sources he/she used and rely more on academic literature instead of out there atheist websites with questionable theories based on unsupported facts. We criticized his/her history, not his/her beliefs or person.

As I recall, at one point the small group of us posting responses compared notes on each other and at least one of us was atheist.

Sorry for all the his/her but compensating in light of a previous comment. For some reason I always pictured Groundhog as a he.
