Groundhog was definitely atheist.  But we did not hate him/her.  We simply wanted him/her to be more critical of the sources he/she used and rely more on academic literature instead of out there atheist websites with questionable theories based on unsupported facts.  We criticized his/her history, not his/her beliefs or person.

As I recall, at one point the small group of us posting responses compared notes on each other and at least one of us was atheist.

Sorry for all the his/her but compensating in light of a previous comment.  For some reason I always pictured Groundhog as a he.[/quote]
