Oh my God! I just got back from hiking when I heard about this Saturday. Then I saw how she was bullied on
that forum and the whole thing is so upsetting. God bless her.

Wait - I heard there was gossip about her and other females working for the FD.

But are you saying she was bullied on FU while she was still alive? If so that's horrible!

In December on FU. It is horrible. I really feel for her.

There was horrible, misogynistic gossip on FU about a variety of women, including Nicole, well before she disappeared.

We don't know exactly WHERE she was found.

I'm confused about why it took over 5 days to find the body that was right near her car.

That is so sad. I know the odds were low, but I was really hoping she was just lost or hurt.

"a remote location more than a mile from the Whiteoak Canyon parking lot where Nicole Mittendorff's car was found Saturday."

I also read it was a rocky, treacherous, dangerous area.

And well off the trail.

Sad when anyone dies. What a beautiful place. For her family's sake, I hope it was accidental. It won't make it any easier but it can be understood.

I don't think this was an accident. It's fishy. I hope they show the place she was found. I'm
familiar with that trail but am curious about where she was climbing.

How do you know she was climbing? Maybe she was out hiking...

Don't worry. There are several posters over in Poltics who have assured the board that sexism and discrimination against women are over.

No matter if it's her, there's a body, so some poor family is getting terrible news. I'm sorry for them.

I mistook conjecture for fact (on websleuths). My mistake. I wonder how she died though.
