There are links to threads from 2014 gossiping about this woman's extramarital activities. Same woman.

Some talk about whether she and law enforcement husband were living together at the time of her disappearance.

I'm perhaps blissfully ignorant about Fairfax Underground, but do they regularly discuss ordinary people's social lives and name them? That's kinda horrifying if true.

Anyway. I thought she was an avid runner, not hiker? A runner won't be as prepared to hike and not get lost. Or know not to go alone.

The missing woman is a relative of a friend of mine. The entire family is devastated and I can't imagine any foul play on the part of the husband. Shame on you who wish to predict otherwise. This is truly a tragedy that doesn't seem to have a good ending....

An athlete in good shape could cover a lot of ground from that lot, particularly if she was trail running on the fire roads and then up a trail... Plenty of places to fall of a ledge and really hurt yourself. Ugh.

I'm the so called gossip who simply mentioned that on Fairfax underground, Peggy Fox of WUSA posted the couples recent baby registry.

Interesting and factual to note that over a year ago, this same woman was named in a thread. Awful, yes, but maybe relevant in this case.
