DC Public and Public Charter Schools
| Can we push this baseless speculation thread to 13 pages? Come on DCUM we can do it! |
| I heard LAMB was expanding and opening a branch school in Landover. |
|
| Lee is moving to a building on Wisconsin in upper NW. I believe SSMA considered it last year. |
| Wisconsin and Calvert. Thought they were committed to Ward 5. I love ear hustling. |
Yeah, LOL, 10 minutes in rush hour traffic. |
| The old Local 99 bulding is there, right? |
Why would you say that? Lee is a good school. We have no need to tear other schools down. |
|
Hide your crazy.
We will hear it first from Lee admin... I hope. |
And we're not. Most people on this thread aren't Lee parents. If they were they should know the timeline. |
| That local 99 building is still listed as for sale. |
who is we? what a wierd, random post. the last page of this thread is full of funny, ridiculous speculation, and yet you interpret this as a take down off LAMB (who is not one the schools talked about on here as having lots of MD students???) rather than another obviously impossible and thus funny speculation, and you interpret it as being written by a Lee parent (which is an odd assumption considering there are all kinds of posters on here who have identified themselves as non lee parents). |
|
Be cool Lee parents.
Don't be all... uncool. |
| Cut the lee parents some slack. I would be freaking out if they put my kids school by scrapyard. Really hope you get Bethune's location btw! |
| The problem that SSMA had with the union building is that the union wanted to sell, not become a landlord. Most charter schools, including Lee I assume, don't have the funding to buy an office building on Wisconsin Avenue outright. |
