Op here: nope

Ok. Anyone in their 20s, especially from RI would get this joke.

Op here: believe it or not, I've never watched one episode of Family Guy

Then how do you know it's a Family Guy joke?

Op here: googled the last name

OP here: Why would that be? I know plenty of people from here that vacation in the Vineyard. My family has had a house in Edgartown since I was in 9th grade and before that, we always just rented a house on the isand. What you are saying makes no sense at all.

OP is definitely a troll (although I held out hope for a long time)- someone who regularly vacations on Martha's Vineyard would not refer to it as "in the Vineyard."

Op here: oh SO SORRY that I accidentally wrote "in" instead of "on". I have never in my life said "I'm going to be on Martha's Vineyard for the week in July!" I have always said "I'm going to be on The Vineyard....".

You used "in" way more than once.

Oh good lord, dimwit. Anyone can google. Why are some of you so bound and determined to try to prove OP is lying? Frankly I don't think anything she said sounds like she's making it up. Most of you don't sound like you're writing a dissertation when you post here, and if you answer enough questions on a forum like this, you'll end up with people up your a$$ about something.

If you don't like it, just stop reading.

NP, by the way.

Yes, that proves it. Beyond the shadow of a doubt. Or it just proves that the 'i' is next to the 'o' on the keyboard. I've never been anywhere near MV, and I'm not American, and even I know that it's "on the Vineyard", so I doubt that proves anything one way or the other.

Op here: lol if the one thing you want to question is where I grew up spending my summers ON the Vineyard, then go for it. You just sound stupid.

Please, OP, just stop. I'm embarrassed for you.

It's like the needy kid on the playground: play with me! Look at me! I'll lift up my dress if you do!

Yet you keep posting in here continuously

Why were you constantly posting online about the issue with Bobcat man rather than turning to your real life friends and family for help and support?

Op here; if you had read the full post, you would have known that I was in fact talking to friends about it.

You claimed to be texting with a best friend at the same time you were posting here every two seconds. You must be a really quick typist, ands great multitasker, huh?

I posted twice in a few minutes and am done now. It's really just sad. You need help, OP. Seriously.

Op here: you're saying that you can't text someone and then type a response on a computer? Wow....

OP, I think you need to give some thought as to why you feel the need to engage in attention seeking-behavior here.

OP, I don't know why some people are being so mean to you! I guess it's easy to feel holier than thou from behind their screens. Besides, these people making fun of you for being on DCUM or answering these questions are beyond ridiculous considering they themselves are on DCUM and asking the questions and/or commenting.

ANYWAY, I don't think you made your stuff up. And it's your choice to give the details that you're giving. I think the whole thread was very entertaining and I personally am happy to have been able to have read it all real-time, it made my work days MUCH more enjoyable last week!

But I hope that you are happy and you do deserve that. I would definitely try to avoid a long distance relationship. But I think you've come to that conclusion on your own.

This has all been truly fascinating. Thank you!
